After a lot of research, Whippets joined the Ridgeback clan in 2010 and we bred our first litter in 2014. Our aim is to breed true to type as well as maintaining the lovely Whippet temperament. Our puppies leave home vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and with an Information Booklet. I joined dogs Victoria in 1989 with my first Siberian Husky under the prefix Sibenik, showing racing and breeding for many years, until my first whippet came along in 2015 (Lexi). Then in 2017 I acquired the gorgeous Rikki, Terraway Fire And Reign, from Wayne and Teresa Parkinson. Rikki has proven herself as a wonderful breeding bitch producing some beautiful dogs, from her first litter CH. We have a gorgeous, sweetheart of a boy available from our current litter of 7. Hendrix is such a sweet gentle boy who is 12 weeks old and able to go to his new home now. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs, and are well socialised with people of all ages. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead, we start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set.
