We are a small family kennel, we have exhibited and breed Irish Setters and Collies in the past and then fell in love with Welsh Springer Spaniels, we purchased our first bitch in 1990 and from then on there has been no looking back, and couldn't imagine life without a welsh. With many years experience with exhibiting dogs and the knowledge gained though the Diploma in Applied Science Animal Technology majoring in genetics and advanced breeding techniques, we are looking forward to the future. We are a small kennel based in Melbourne where our dogs are part of our family. Our family consist of two adults, two children and three fur babies. We have been involved in the Welshie breed since 2013, but Rebecca has been around dogs all of her life. The dog breeds Rebecca has owner are Dobermans, Rough coated collies, Fox Terriers, Jack Russell terriers. Here at Ausspring Kennels we love nothing more than to spend time with our fur babies weather that be Showing, Tracking, obedience training, bush walking or at the beach swimming. Our Welshies are first and foremost our loving and loyal companions in life. We aim to breed Welsh Springer Spaniels with beauty, intelligence and soundness of body and temperament. All of our dogs are health tested.

Icepaws kennels was established in 1997 and prides themselves on there on going assistance provided to families that open there homes up to my pups. All Icepaws babies are brought up in a family environment in my home. They have a wonderful play room and are well socialized with friends and the rest of the pack at Icepaws. Vet checked, microchipped, DNA to prove parentage, vaccinated once at 6 weeks with a C3. Pups are wormed every 2 weeks before leaving for their new home. Puppy’s brough as Pet will be placed on limited register, (meaning not to be bred or shown). Pedigree papers will be forwarded on when processed by Dogs QLD. All pups come with an Icepaws Puppy Buyer Guide Book, this booklet has everything you need to know about your pup and so much more (over 30 pages long, and sent once deposit is paid) a Royal Canin pack as well as a small travel blanket a grooming comb and collar. All babies are crate trained, toilet trained and are well developed settled pups in any environment at Icepaws. Parents are Excellent examples of the breed. The Sire’s dad is NO.1 Alaskan Malamute in Australia. Health Tested A grade hips and 0 elbows. DNA clear of genetic faults and thyroid clear. Her dad is a double up on my Canadian import Prada. She is the pick of the litter & I have made the very tough decision not to keep her. She has a beautiful soft tempermant. She is upto date with worming, flea & tick & vaccinations. You will get life long support from me. She will be registered on the limited register, which means not for breeding or showing.
