Established in 1972, Bromhund Weimaraners has been breeding, working, and exhibiting Weimaraners and Weimaraner Longhairs for 51 years. We aim to breed versatile Weimaraners, prioritizing health, personality, and temperament to make them excellent companions for families.

We are recognized as one of Australia's most successful kennels, being the only Weimaraner kennel in the country to have bred 207 show champions, including 3 Supreme Champions and 5 Grand Champions. Our achievements speak for themselves.

We have also bred numerous working and obedience-titled dogs, including Novice Retrieving Dog (NRD), Restricted Retrieving Dog (RRD), Retrieving Trial Champion titles, Tracking Champions, and International Champions.

Our focus is on breeding Weimaraners with excellent temperaments, health, and appearance. Our puppies are highly sought after, and we currently have a waiting list. Many of our puppy buyers return for their second and third Weimaraners from us. Weisngrey are planning some wonderful litters in the future using local and international genetics of longhairs.

As an ANKC breeder of purebred dogs, I not only look to breed a dog for show or performance but also as a companion for life. This means that type, temperament and health is a priority which is why I commenced DNA profiling back in 2019 and Hip and Elbow score my mature breeding pairings. Potential Weisngrey puppy owners can be guaranteed that a pup from Weisngrey is not effected by:

Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Spinal Dysraphism (SD) or
Brain Hypomyelination (HYPM).

Whilst DNA does not identify all health issues, it is step forward in producing a more healthier generation in the future.

Having been involved with dogs all my life, but not knowing about Weimaraners in particular until 2008, I immediately fell in love at first sight with the Weimaraner Longhair

After researching the breed for a few years, including assessing behaviour, health risks and training requirements I brought home my first Longhair Hunter Sharlani Fudgie Bear (LH) in 2012

I have spent the past four years working with Hunter and continuing to learn about Weimaraners. Hunter is now known as:
DUAL CH (T) GR CH SHARLANI FUDGIE BEAR (LH) ET JC

I continue to research the breed and Hunter has been fortunate to have sired 3 litters to date with:
- Feldjaeger QLD 2015
- Seriousgrey TAS 2015
- Greywei ACT 2017

with 5 champion Progeny to date, Hunter was certainly been proven as a sire and I look forward to continuing to see his progeny grow

In 2016 I planned and completed the Dogs Victoria Breeding Accreditation Program, Registering my Prefix Weizpoint with the future intention of breeding Weimaraners of both coat varieties.

In 2021 we welcomed Waldweise Worlds Apart 'Heidi' to our family. Heidi is a beautiful girl who is expected to be breeding in 2024.

When I have no immediate plans for breeding, I am happy to assist with any inquiries regarding the Weimaraner breed, and in particular, can help facilitate contact with breeders of both coat varieties.

We are excited to announce the safe arrival of beautiful longhair babies from 'Heidi' Champion Waldwiese Worlds Apart and 'Neeko' Dual Champion (T) Waldwiese Xplain Yourself (AI). These babies will be ready to leave for their new homes after November 30th.
