Lidaby is a Dogs NZ (previously known as NZKC) registered kennel that is located in the Waikato which is in the North Island of New Zealand. We have owned Staffords since 2000 and have been exhibiting our dogs in the show ring since 2008. We bred our first litter in 2017 and only breed when wanting to keep a puppy ourselves. Valleyriver Kennels has been my dream since I was a teenager and now forty years later and on the other side of the world we live on a 5 acre block with tons of room for the dogs to run around and no neighbours within sight or sound. Our dogs are first and foremost our pets, they sleep inside with us and we have rotas for the sofas! Our aim is to produce show ring quality Staffords but nothing is more important to us than temperament. We want stunning dogs with that wonderful loving nature that the breed is famous for. All our dogs are DNA tested and clear and there is no history of allergies or skin conditions in our lines. Our foundation bitch and matriarch of Valleyriver is Keira (Foxestown Catherine Ellen). She has the very best bloodlines behind her and has a sister, brother, father, uncle, grandmother, grandfather etc all Champions in the show ring. She has correct conformation and is very intelligent as well as beautiful in looks and nature. Our puppies are sold with a contract stating they are not to be used for breeding or showing. Takoda is a DogsNZ (NZKC) registered Kennel owned by Alison Marett who is a DogsNZ (NZKC) Accredited Breeder. We are located in Rotorua, NZ. Apart from notable success in the Breed Show rings, our dogs also do Canine Friends Pet Therapy visits and are all working at various levels of the Canine Good Citizen awards scheme. Here at Valleyriver Kennels we are expecting a litter of beautiful red puppies around the 10th January. Mum and Dad are DNA tested clear and both have clear eye certificates. Their families are known going back many generations with each mating planned carefully over the years to produce what we believe is the best combination of temperament, health and conformation. We are seeking a home for 18 month old Red Male through no fault of his own. Timmay was shown as youngster so has basic lead training. He is still very much an exciteable puppy. He has been well socialised with people and other dogs. He is also used to the car and crate trained. He would love to be the center of someone's world as he loves attention and is currently living in a multi dog house hold. He is a good sized boy who can be exhuberant so although previous stafford experience isnt essentially someone who understands stafford lust for life would be best. Ideally someone who would be willing to keep him entire and located within an hour of Logan. Timmay is the only puppy from his litter and we can not repeat so we are hoping to include Timmay again in our breeding plans down the track. He would be suitable for a sport home but not showing.
