In October 2008 we relocated to Australia and as we were unable to register "Warmaster" in Australia, we bred under the prefix "Blackshot". After returning to New Zealand in March 2023 "Warmaster" has been re-activated with Dogs NZ and will be our kennel name again. All breeding stock is L2-HGA & HC DNA tested clear, Eye Tested and chosen for adherence to the breed standard both physically and mentally.

Takoda is a DogsNZ (NZKC) registered Kennel owned by Alison Marett who is a DogsNZ (NZKC) Accredited Breeder. We are located in Rotorua, NZ. Apart from notable success in the Breed Show rings, our dogs also do Canine Friends Pet Therapy visits and are all working at various levels of the Canine Good Citizen awards scheme. Here at Valleyriver Kennels we are expecting a litter of beautiful red puppies around the 10th January. Mum and Dad are DNA tested clear and both have clear eye certificates. Their families are known going back many generations with each mating planned carefully over the years to produce what we believe is the best combination of temperament, health and conformation. Pretty red little staffy girl Danish 2 years old. Ready from 18 Jan 2025. Vet says shouldnt have another litter so time to retire early and live life to it fullest! Loves full body cuddles. He is a beautiful boy, has a great nature, is very affectionate and loves to be around people and other dogs. He will need to be with another dog or have people home frequently or he will fret. He has been raised in a family environment and is crate trained, house trained, lead trained and has been shown as a youngster so has travelled and socialised. Archie is clear of hereditary diseases via parentage, has no health issues and no allergies. He is up to date with vaccinations and parasite protection and is a very healthy boy. Archie is a strong boy who loves children but may be too rough for younger children - best suited to 10 yrs+. He has been raised as an inside/ outside dog, sleeps inside at night and is used to being part of the family.
