Only genuine enquires for potential show dogs now being taken. We are a small breeder who are focused on quality and temperament. We are lucky to have fantastic mentors that have helped us into the breeds and who we work closely with. Although we are fairly new to our breeds we have access to some fantastic pedigrees, incorporating both imported and top local lines, from proven stock that are true to breed standard. We are striving to produce quality happy dogs that are professionals in the show ring but first and foremost loved family pets.

Here at Heisspur since 2005 our main focus has been Miniature Schnauzers. In 2015 our big old mixed breed rescue boy became a bit deaf, blind & arthritic so we decided to add a Giant Schnauzer to our clan welcoming the beautiful "Kiki". Mentored by old Ringo she is the perfect goofball guard dog. She is a proven show dog quickly becoming an Australian Champion also winning Bitch Challenge at 2017 Sydney Royal. She's also a talented sniffer reaching her Tracking Dog Title with a hat-trick. She has also done some herding and has been a very clever watchdog and guardian of our home and 30 acre property. Owning (or being owned by) any giant breed requires dedication and training. Giant Schnauzers are a very intelligent, friendly happy-go-lucky breed. Here in Australia they are in the Utility Group (Working Dog group in the USA). They were bred over many generations for a purpose, to guard and this is their natural instinct, and in their mind will be their purpose in any environment. They require dedicated training and daily exercise to keep their mind and body active. Also being a double coated breed they require regular grooming. If you are thinking of adding a Giant to your family, it is advised that you do more than just research online. Please phone breeders, go to shows, meet the dogs and spend time with them. They will become a Giant part of your family and you will be their whole world. We owe it to any dog to know what is required to give them a happy whole life

Dusty is a 3 1/2 mth male. We've decided he will fall short of our breeding and show criteria and is looking for his best match pet home. Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. Our Mums are minimum 2yo+ and mature physically and mentally, before carefully considering breeding, or not. We are here to support our homes and will take back any dog, at any stage throughout life. Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average and are matched to homes based on temperament and home type. We aim to place puppies once, and well. We adapt for each litters' requirements and progress is available to view on our Facebook page/group updates. We encourage you to view our Facebook kennel page for litter updates and as an insight into our breeding ethos here at Giandarra. Email enquiry to [email protected] or mobile 0448 438 878. Enquiry welcome. Our dogs are very much a part of our home and daily life on our rural working farm. We also actively show a team of dogs throughout the year.
