We give a great importance to the physical and mental development and like to see in our schnauzers characteristics such as strong and reliable temperament, loyalty to their owner, desire to learn and work; as well as solid heads, powerful necks, wide chests, sturdy hind limbs and harsh low maintenance coat. Our breeding is based on only imported bloodlines from Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

Munchener has been involved with Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzers since 1989. Schnauzers of all sizes have been a part of our family since the 1960s. The Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzer is a rare breed with only 1 in 15 Giant Schnauzers being Pepper & Salt in colour. We are working closely with dedicated breeders overseas and through our breeding programme and by selectively importing hope to further develop and promote the breed in Australia. We have imported from Germany, Sweden, UK and USA. Our latest import is Hungarian Junior Champion Australian Grand Champion Silver Senator Kaoma Night ( Prima) from Hungary.All our dogs are health tested. Our next litter is planned for September 2022 sired by Int Ch Ger Ch Prinz vom Kleinen Büffel BH AD FH1 FH2 IGP3 (imp Gmy, frozen semen) out of Ch Munchener Silverschatz von Mondo. All puppies will be black, but carrying the pepper & salt gene.

I first started showing in 1965 with a miniature schnauzer.My first schnauzer adopted me in 1985 and then came the giant in 1994 since then we have bred 5 Grand Champion Schnauzers the first Male & Female in the breed.Our bloodlines have started some of the top winning kennels in Australa and have produced 94 titled dogs that we know of many which are BIS BIG and Specialty winners We only breed when requiring new dogs for show or obedience over the years our dogs have been used in child handlers

Our current litter was born 10/9/24 and bubs are due to go on to their forever homes towards the end of November. All pups leave us health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed every 2 weeks from birth and registered with DOGS N.S.W. and come with puppy packs, an ongoing supply of food and info. folders re care and nutrition and relevant paperwork. We have 2 beautiful white male puppies remaining from our litter. They have been microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and vet checked and are ready to go to their forever homes now. The passed their vet check with flying colour's and have no health concerns. We are proud to announce that we now have three boxer puppies available from our last litter, born 15th April, 2024. We held them back while we decided on one to keep for ourselves. Our puppies were are raised in our home, are fully vaccinated, they have been wormed every two weeks up to and including 8 weeks of age, then they have been wormed monthly thereafter. We only feed our dogs and puppies all natural human grade food, both raw and cooked which has been prepared by us. Our puppies are well socialized with all our adult dogs and other puppies and travel well in a car.
