We have owned and loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1984. Starting with our first rescue Ridgeback on our honeymoon. We quickly followed on with our first show female and have show and occasionally bred since then. We are not a large scale breeder. Temperament is just as important as all other traits in a ridgeback so getting the right breeding pair is essential.
Our breeding pair have been hip and elbow scored, DNA tested and are both Australian champions from two of the most successful breeders in Australia.
The temperament of our ridgeback is amazing and hopefully in the near future we can pass that onto their offspring.

We have been involved with showing and breeding our Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 15 years, only breeding occasionally. Our puppies are raised on our rural property in our home along with our adult dogs and children. Shangoridge puppies come with ANKC registration, are wormed every two weeks and receive their first Vaccinations.
