Shemshi Ridgebacks are based on a 145 acre Red Devon Beef farm in the Waimata Valley, Gisborne. Established 24+years ago in the UK, I immigrated with three generations in 2007. I am planning a second litter with Shemshi Tamela due November 2023. My litters are born and raised in the lounge to maximise their socialisation. Parents are health tested, hip and elbow scored for dysplasia, DNA tested for Degenerative Myelopathy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. Your puppy will come with: 1st health check & vaccination. Sandridge Rhodesian Ridgebacks is based on a 20 acre farm high on a ridge of the Korowai o te Tonga peninsula made up of two million year old sand dunes, overlooking the Kaipara harbour, about an hour north of Auckland. Our kennel is founded on some of the finest true to type Rhodesian Ridgeback bloodlines. Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks is situated in the village of Murchison, near the top of the South Island, NZ. Living on a lifestyle block, our dogs enjoy sharing the land with our cattle, sheep & horses. The girls are part of our family, & are involved in almost everything we do. From helping with the orphan lambs/calves, cafés/shopping, beach runs, to strutting their stuff in the show ring. My passion for this breed started over 20 years ago, after having a bitch & her son. They had never left my heart, so the hunt for another RR blessed us with THREE girls from Koruridge. We are so very proud to own them. My husband is now hooked, & so Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks was born! Our girls have tested clear for Degenerative Myelopathy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, & do not carry the Dilute/Blue coat colour gene. All have excellent Hip/Elbow scoring, and great natures. Going forward, any Dogs chosen for our Bitches will have been tested for the above. This breed is super versatile, so should have great natures & be sound for Lure Coursing, Agility, Obedience, Show Ring & most importantly, amazing companions! Having made a decision as to which of my gorgeous boys I am going to go on with from my last (after 40 years) Ridgeback litter, I am making Doc (Isilwane I Am The Future) available for sale. He is a 12 month old very handsome Liver nose boy, from fully tested parents. He has been rotating between my place (semi rural) and a good friend's (suburban surrounds), he is lead trained (slip collar and lead - no harnesses), crate trained, house trained, socialised with lots of other breeds including his Staffy girlfriend Millie, whippets, German Shepherds. He has also been shown with success (happy to consider someone who'd like to bond with him and take him out again - he doesn't like to be rushed). He is very well behaved in the house and was easily taught the boundary of the kitchen when goes on his visits, knows what "on your bed" means and loves bounding onto the bed in the morning for a smooch. Good with kids. Hasn't been around cats. He would do really really well with a companion but also fine if on his own with great humans in his life. This is not a rescue/rehouse situation. He is for sale and we have put a great deal of time and effort into making sure he has the best training (as has his brother) ready for when I made this decision. He is up to date on worming and vaccinations. Happy to do the move to a new home over time with visits and sleepovers to acclimatise him to a new home & family. Reluctantly, I am looking for a new forever home for my gorgeous Zuri (Australian Ch Rijstone Wyndrunhrs Rubys Gift (AI)) She is 6 years old, fit, trim and very healthy, has recently had a litter of pups and been desexed. She has a big outgoing cheeky personality. She is used to being with other ridgebacks and has lived inside and outside but now prefers to be inside and being amongst daily family life. She will either need the company of another ridgeback or people who are mainly home. She is very affectionate and craves attention. She is crate and toilet trained. She loves going for walks.
