Classnsass is a small, friendly, approachable breeder of these amazing dogs. After having several breeds over the many years, these little guys have grabbed our hearts and ran away with them.

Having two gorgeous Affens from Swayd Affenpinschers in Victoria has set us up beautifully, and we have just bred our first litter. (March 2024)

The absolute joy the Affenpinscher breed brings to your home is immeasurable.

They are sturdy, vibrant, sometimes strong willed, (mainly the girls!) feisty, proud, comical and just one of the best breed of dogs we have had the pleasure to love. They do need some good ground rules, they have a huge personality in that gorgeous little body, and are generally open to some tasty rewards when training!

The Sire of our puppies has made a great impression in the show ring, close to his Australian Champion title he has caused conversations and for a rare or minority breed in a hard group to compete in, the Toy group, he has done so well. We don't exhibit the dogs a lot, and it can be weeks between shows for us, and now, we have an addition to our small team, being Rose, Classnsass Shabby Chic, from our current litter. We look forward to showing Rupert and his daughter!

We look forward to getting back in the showring, having had several months off.

SIMIAS kennel was established in 1997 using dogs specially selected for genetic diversity from the HART D kennel in Anchorage, Alaska. Originally located in northern California, we moved with our dogs to NZ in 2003, . In October 2012, two superb young dogs from North Carolina joined the team from the world renowned TAMARIN kennel.
Simias has bred multiple show Champions and many,many adored family pets.
Supreme Ch. Simias Satchell Paige, blazed a trail through Tasmania, expertly guided by owner Leone Cashman. In Victoria, Affen ambassador extrodinaire, Grand Ch. Simias Blackberry Trifle Betty won fans wherever she was shown by owner Sally Stewart. And it's not just about looks, Chris Barron Qld. has made Simias Wavy Gravy, RE CDX, Australasia's highest awarded Affenpinscher (ever!) in the sport of Obedience. Warmest congratulations to all.

SIMIAS came home to NZ in 2019 and some lovely babies have since been imported and bred. Covid paused several show careers but dedicated Afficianados are out there with more promising young dogs and lots of sofas have adored supervising Affens keeping an eye on their families.

Occasionally a puppy may go out on breeders terms, of which there will be no fees incurred whatsoever!
All our puppies go to their new homes with a very extensive care manual & we offer life long support, we take no deposits & keep no waiting lists; our puppies go to those that express the most interest and we believe can provide them with the best home.
