We have been involved with showing Pulis since the 1990s. Since this time we have rarely been without one as a companion. We do not breed Pulis, but are happy to help if you have any questions. We selectively breed multi-purpose Pulis excelling in conformation shows, obedience, herding, agility and family companions. All dogs included in our breeding program are hip x-rayed and eye tested. We breed and exhibit both black and white Pulis. Our dogs are raised in a family environment and are well socialised before they leave for their new homes. We provide FREE information and advice to prospective Puli owners, or to current Puli owners, whether you own a Rastaz Puli or not. We provide FREE lifetime grooming advice and assistance to all new puppy owners. All enquiries are welcome. Over the years we have incorporated imported frozen semen and imported lines to our existing foundation stock. We are dedicated to maintaining and improving breed type, excellent temperaments and sound conformation into our future generations. We have been involved with Pulis since 1992. Our breeding program has endeavoured to incorporate the world's best lines by selectively breeding from imported Champion lines from the US, Hungary and the UK to expand the available gene pool in Australia. Our aim is to breed healthy happy Pulis that maintain the unique appearance, breed type and personality that make this breed a treasured sheepdog and companion. We utilise current research when planning each litter, and our puppies are lovingly raised in a home environment. Our Pulis have been widely awarded by local, interstate and international judges as exceptional examples of the breed, with multiple having Royal Best In Show and Best in Show titles, making them some of the top winning Pulis in the country. My love for the Puli began in 1990 when I purchased Carrie, (Feketekutya Toffee) my beautiful black masked, silver (fako) girl. I was looking for a breed with intelligence, outgoing nature and willingness to learn for my work in the film industry and, I was instantly smitten with this delightful little dog. It was not until after her death that I discovered how difficult it was going to be to buy another Puli here in Australia that was not black in colour. After many years in fruitless search throughout Australia, I imported a female from Sweden. Since then, genetics have also been added from amongst the best breeders in Hungary and we breed the fako colour as well as black. My dogs are raised on a working farm in the Yarra Valley in a family environment with children and a variety of livestock. All breeding stock has current hip and eye certificates. Our dogs have been successfully shown and also compete in dog sports such as agility and flyball. Advice is freely given on all aspects of the care, grooming and training of Pulik. Icepaws kennels was established in 1997 and prides themselves on there on going assistance provided to families that open there homes up to my pups. All Icepaws babies are brought up in a family environment in my home. They have a wonderful play room and are well socialized with friends and the rest of the pack at Icepaws. Vet checked, microchipped, DNA to prove parentage, vaccinated once at 6 weeks with a C3. Pups are wormed every 2 weeks before leaving for their new home. Puppy’s brough as Pet will be placed on limited register, (meaning not to be bred or shown). Pedigree papers will be forwarded on when processed by Dogs QLD. All pups come with an Icepaws Puppy Buyer Guide Book, this booklet has everything you need to know about your pup and so much more (over 30 pages long, and sent once deposit is paid) a Royal Canin pack as well as a small travel blanket a grooming comb and collar. All babies are crate trained, toilet trained and are well developed settled pups in any environment at Icepaws. Parents are Excellent examples of the breed.
