HISTORY - The Prazsky Krysarik, or Prague Ratter, is a rare breed with a history dating back to the 8th century. Originating in the Czech Republic, these dogs were once cherished by nobility & royalty, often gifted to foreign rulers as symbols of diplomacy & friendship. Initially favoured for their elegance & agility in royal courts, Prague Ratters later became popular among commoners for their rat-hunting skills. TEMPERAMENT - Known for their intelligence, ease of training, and affectionate nature, Prague Ratters are agile, quick, & display natural nobility. They are slightly reserved with strangers but incredibly loyal & friendly within their families, thriving on human companionship & involvement in daily life. Gentle, curious, and loving, they are ideal companions for all ages.

We have been breeding dogs for over 15 years. Our puppies are raised inside our family home and are very used to all the noise and hustle and bustle. They are handled regularly (with full supervision) by our 5 year old and we believe because of a combination of this, our puppy raising program and their breeding they have gentle temperaments and are fantastic with young children. We do sound desensitisation, ESI & ENS with our puppies from day 3-16 which we have recently added to our puppy program with great success, we feel it helps our puppies become more confident, resilient and better able to cope with stress throught their lives. Both parents are fully dna tested for DM, CM, EFS & CCDE and puppies are 100% guaranteed not to be affected by any of these diseases. All puppies are wormed regularly and are also vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped. Our dogs are fed on high quality Blackhawk biscuits aswell as fresh chicken, lamb & beef. KQRAC is home to Champions & Supreme Champions, Multi Best in Show winners at All Breeds and Breed Speciality Shows Puppies are raised in our home on a premium diet, have educational and interactive toys and activities, they are vet checked and are usually placed on the Limited Register with Dogs Victoria, not for showing or breeding but they can still partake in Dog Sports, sometimes puppies may go on the Main Register.
