I am a very dedicated breeder of Standard Poodles of 30 years and my aim is to produce puppies who are fit tor purpose of this wonderful breed. Our bloodlines are from top UK , European and USA Kennels Firstly our Standards are our pets and showing is a bonus and only if they enjoy it. Happy, healthy, well adjusted Standards are our main priority. I have bred and owned over 17 champions some of whom have been top winners in Breed shows, . Litters are carefully planned, with a focus on temperament, health and breeding to the Poodle Breed Standard. I am delighted to announce the arrival of a litter born on 02/02/2017 to my imported bitch Fame (NZ Ch Kelka's Forever Fame imp Slovenia) and my dog Marco (Ch Kamsin Tangled Up In Blue). I have always loved dogs, and after research chose this versatile breed for their brains, and trainablity, as well as their good-looks. Health tested, DNA profiled, loved. We have two beautiful white girls available. Parents are both Australian Champions, and health tested. Both sire and dam have European lines, adding to diversity. Regretfully, I am looking for a very special home for my 16 month old girl. I had kept her, hoping for my last breeding girl. (I'm getting older). This girl has not developed as I hoped, being lean and rangy and a little too long for her height. Overall, she has not met my expectations of the breed, so I have had her desexed ready to be placed. What you need to know. "Cher" thinks she is a puppy and plays rough with other dogs. She can be super loving, then jump on you. She learns easily, but it didn't help that I returned to work when she was a puppy. Cher doesn't mind being bathed, but the dryer still scares her. She is well behaved on the grooming table but panics a bit when being picked up or put down from the table. Cher weighs 21 kilos and is hard to fatten up as she is so energetic. She has been on a high calorie / high fat diet for 3 months. Cher will follow you around, step in front of you, spin in circles when excited, and generally be a clown. Cher has spent most of her time with her canine relatives, either in air conditioned kennels, or running in our day yards, when not with us. She is used to cattle passing within metres of her. A mature non reactive companion who knows the ropes would be an advantage. Hoping to settle her locally, so that she can come back if it doesn't work out.
