We are a small kennel situated in Nabiac in the Manning Valley near Forster on 3.5 landscaped acres. We have owned Pekingese 15 years. We have bred Best in Show and multiple Best in Group winning dogs in NSW and around the country. This breed has captured our hearts and we have dedicated a lot of time and effort. We added to the gene pool by importing dogs from Malaysia and Scotland. Jon is a licensed judge for Group 1, Group 3, Group 6 and Group 7.

Zhen Kennels has moved with me from Australia to Hong Kong to the US and back again. We specialize in heritage colours, such as black and tan and self-coloured cream, which are getting harder to find these days. Zhen The Cleverman is a "flame-faced" black and tan (see photo) and his half-brother, Zhen the Explorer, are available to approved bitches. We are expecting a few litters this year (please check here or our website for details of puppies or older dogs available). Our dogs also have typical Pekingese temperaments and beautiful breathing! Dr Hilary du Cros (owner) first started in Pekingese at 10 years old and has owned and bred pekingese over many years.

Breeding Pekingese for type and conformation, and in a variety of colours including cream, red, fawn, sable and occasionally black, black and tan and parti-colours. Show and pet puppies are sometimes available to approved homes only. Occasionally young and retired adults are also available as well - conditions will apply. I’ve extended my show team with Pekes from a long time and respected breeder Miyoko. Since showing my Pekes my first girl Ishka gained her champion title at only 10mths with winning many BOB, class in group wins and 2 junior in show wins. My very first homebred boy Azar has picked up 8 baby of breeds, 4 baby in groups and 3 baby in shows. I’m only a small kennel in Tasmania and only breed to extend my show team and will sometimes have babies available to approved loving homes.

Chinkira Pekingese currently have 2 beautiful red boys available. These boys are just over 5mths old and come microchipped, vaccinated, up to date worming, lead trained and fully vet checked. I have made the very difficult decision to rehome my beautiful boy Tex. Tex is 21 months old, and will be desexed before he leaves me. If anyone is considering adding Tex to their lives, please be prepared for a loving boy, who really wants to please. He has personality beyond measure, he loves his toys, loves a ball, and loves people. Tex is confident around other dogs, and once he learns his manners around cats he will be fine (he has not lived with cats), but he is a gentle boy, so it will be just manners that the cat will have to teach him. Available is a 17 month old red male with black mask. He is a playful boy that would suit a family with older children or a couple who like walking in the cooler times of the day. He will be placed as desexed and fully vaccinated. Also, a 16 month old white female with big dark eyes and beautiful temperament may be available to loving home. Would suit single person, couple or family with older children as very gentle. This little girl has been fully vaccinated and desexed. She is already a house dog so will adapt quickly to your home.
