Welcome to Howlincreek terriers where we endeavour to breed the best “True To Type” Parson Terrier, using imported bloodlines going back to the original type bred by Reverend John Russell himself. We have been involved with Parsons for over 40yrs back when people just called them leggy jacks and we love the energy and character of this terrier. We have owned some of the early known names of working Parsons in Australia such as, Kapaldo, Swampfox, Foxalla, Foxmoor and even descendants of Bohunt.

We are a small rural kennel located in West Gippsland. We have been involved with Parson Russell Terriers for 20 years. We love that they are loyal companions that thrive being with us on the farm.

Felon is sister littermate to RBIS NZ CH Numoda Vultures and Thieves (Channing), who is son of RIBS NZ CH Itacor Ebony Dream CGC B (Ebony). Channing has dominated the breed scene in New Zealand since he hit the show ring as a baby. Firebright have exciting news!!! We have not one, but two litters due!!! The first due on 24th November 2024, and the second on 3rd December 2024. Sire for both litters is Australian Champion Aeestate Aether, the dam for the first is Australian Champion Firebright Blue Destiny. The dam for the second litter is Australian Champion Firebright Midnight Symphony. Both dams are daughter's of USA Champion Scandifio's Baloo Bear of Sophia, from the famous Scandifio kennel. Both the sire and both dams, were 2023 Royal Show winners. They all three, have amazing temperaments, and excellent Hip & Elbow scores.
