Welcome to Jenzsa, the ANKCs original breeder of Miniature American Shepherds. We imported the very first AKC Miniature American Shepherds as the MAS was not recognised by the national kennel council until our hard work paid off July 26th, 2022. Our program focuses on producing soundness, type and temperament all true to our Breed Standard, testing for everything as it becomes available and choosing the best of our show and breeding prospects to go forward with. I am extremely excited to be able to showcase my Miniature Amercian Shepherds in the show ring as well as providing families with an amazing pet. THE ORIGINAL. THE BEST #1 2022, 2023, 2024.

We take pride that we don't just breed fantastic family pets but also put in the extra effort to test our dogs' soundness of mind and body against the breed standard by actively competing in sanctioned ANKC events both in the conformation ring (show ring) and performance ring (i.e. herding, agility, lure coursing, etc). This is in addition to DNA testing, annual eye examinations and hip and elbow scoring that our dogs undergo PRIOR to any breedings taking place. Welcome to Karelea Australian & Miniature American Shepherds. We are nestled between the mountains and the sea on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, and have had Aussies in our lives since 2008, and now welcome the Miniature American Shepherd to our family. We have been breeding Australian Shepherds since 2020 and will now be incorporating Miniature American Shepherds into our future plans. We show our dogs in conformation, and have titled past dogs in both Conformation, Obedience and Rally O. Our Aussies live as inside/outside dogs and are very much a part of our family. We aim to breed health tested, well bred Aussies & MAS that not only adhere to their respective breed standards, but have the brains and temperament required to suit all lifestyles. Our puppies are registered with Dogs NSW (ANKC). Microchipped, Vaccinated and wormed before they leave for their new homes.

I have fallen in love with this breed, after owning Australian Shepherds for over 20 years. We are waiting for our imports to arrive sometime this year. And look forward to campaigning our new kids in the rings throughout Australia. They have amazing bloodlines and bred by a world famous breeder and hall of fame breeder! We are excited to bring substance, style and beauty into our beautiful country. We aim for stable temperaments and excellent health. Our stud dog ‘Bond’ is clear of any health issues. This includes a pass in hips and elbows, eyes checked, and many other tests he has passed. *Always check that the parents of the MAS puppy have had their DNA tests and ask for proof. She is 15 inches or 38.1 cm tall. and a spicy red head to boot. Spice is spunky and fun. We will be campaigning Spice to her Australian Title before her first litter in a couple of years. We are excited to advise that we three remaining beautiful westie puppies, all boys. They were born on the 17th October and will be 8 weeks of age on the 12th December, when they will be ready to go to their forever homes. We live in Northern NSW on a farm, so our puppies are born into beautiful surroundings with large yards for running around. Puppies come clear of all testable genetic conditions (CMO included) through Orivet, wormed second weekly and they have now been vaccinated, microchipped and have completed their comprehensive vet check with flying colours. Pups are using the dog door by the time they are 5 weeks old, this greatly helps new owners with toilet training. They spend lots of time with my family and other dogs. They are raised on optimum puppy kibble, but they mostly eat a raw diet of fresh meat. Pups are wormed every two weeks and are vaccinated, microchipped and flea treated before they leave to their new homes. Happy for pups to travel interstate or overseas at buyers expense, but can help with arrangements. Pups go with a puppy pack that includes Toys, Treats, Food, something with mum and litter mates sent on, plus lots of information.
