Involved with breeding and exhibiting Bassets for over twenty-five years. We only ever breed selectively to improve the quality of the Basset Hound, focusing on temperament, and conformation to the standard. This has proven very successful for our kennel, producing over 20 Australian Champions and 2 Australian Grand Champions, as well as owning/ campaigning the First ever Basset Hound Grand Champion in Australia. That dog, Aust Gd Ch Jimetta Loxley was one half of the start of our line breeding program which now is almost complete. We have recently imported a Brother and Sister from Bassbarr Bassets in the UK (the bloodline which our Bassets started from) and they will soon be used to complete this last step in our breeding program. Supreme Chammpion, Aust Sup Ch Dowjac Tchaikovskys Tempo, will be shown at Specialty shows and Royals, and will be available for stud to approved bitches.

Our dogs are our family and live in the house with us on our 10 acre property in the Dandenong Ranges. All puppies are hand raised, loved and well socialised with our large family. Puppies are all microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, and vet checked.

Breeders of Champion Basset Hounds since 1979. We strive to breed sound moderate hounds with excellent temperaments. We have bred three of only six New Zealand Grand Champion Basset Hounds ever: GR CH Hunterspark Mr Basil;GR CH & Aus CH Hunterspark Mr Sandman; and GR CH Hunterspark Mr Bertie Hunterspark was also associated for many years with Foxhounds and imported the first show Foxhounds into New Zealand in 1988, one of these hounds went on to be the only Grand Champion Foxhound, GR CHc Mingus Hound Hastings imp Aus

We have a gorgeous black tri male available. Earl is a 5mnth old and ready for his family. Earl has started his basic training, has had his 3puppy vaccinations, microchipped, up to date with flea and worming, vet checked, ophthalmology vet eye tested, DNA’d and limit registered with Dogs Victoria Earl is a very smart, cuddly chill dude. He is looking for home that will include him as part of the family. Earl loves to learn and play. Like any young Aussie male he will need boundaries set and training. Earl has started his basic training and can sit, drop, toilet trained, is crate trained, travels brilliantly in the car, walks on the lead and is very well socialised.
