We live on a 145 acre property just outside Bathurst NSW, we have owned and loved pure bred Mastiff's since 1998. We currently have 6 Mastiff's in our family. Our Mastiffs have been hip & elbow scored and DNA tested with My Dog DNA. Just like the majority of Mastiff owners we fell in love with this large breeds gentle, loyal and calming friendly nature, making them the perfect companion & guardian for our family, and would like to do our little bit to help protect and preserve The Mastiff. Breeding focusing on genetic & overall health, whilst keeping to the breed standard. We are happy to help or work with other breeders or just talk and learn anything Mastiff related. Mastdoch was founded by Peter & Karen Docherty who first imported a Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992 from the UK. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level).

We breed and exhibit all 3 colours. All of our breeding dogs are health tested for cystinuria, PRA, CMR1, DM and are hip and elbow scored.

We are excited to announce the safe arrival of our long awaited Clumber litter. We will have girls and boys available. The Clumber Spaniel is not a common breed, it is a grand aristocratic British Spaniel. Their job description, like other spaniels is to find and flush game for the gun; to be steady and to receive it tenderly, from land or water. The characteristics that make them good in the field have allowed them to transition well to city life and the Clumber is an excellent companion for those of us that do not work them to the gun. We are a small family kennel; and only breed occasionally. We enjoying showing our dogs and we also do a multitude of dog sports including obedience and tracking. Both parents have excellent temperaments and character and are from fully health tested lines with a proven background to suit any intended purpose. Pups will be vetted, microchipped and vaccinated, we pay special attention to socialization, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature.
