OK, so maybe Miss Riffraff doesn't look like the average show dog. That's not because she doesn't scrub up a treat, but because we are much more interested in the fact that she's a fun dog who is great to live with. Riffraff turned fourteen in 2020 and is enjoying her retirement away from the hustle and bustle of our farm. We still have some of her granddaughters in our breeding program, though, as well as a few other lagottos we've collected along the way. We added Lagottos to our farmily because we wanted dogs that are not too big, friendly with the whole world, easy to care for and who love life. Our dogs are particularly fond of diving in water troughs, chasing butterflies and ducks, and curling up by the fire or under the computer desk at night. Exactly what we were looking for. In 2008, while searching for a new dog, I found the Lagotto Romagnolo and have been involved with this joyful, loving and intelligent breed ever since.

I am the proud owner of three beautiful girls, LaDinamica Pina Cattiua (Pina), LaDinamica Magdelena (Luna) and Incavale Xmas Cupid (Gianna) who come from strong blood lines.

My foundation bitch, Fiorella, has produced some beautiful pups over the years, the first to be raised on the Surf Coast of Victoria. All my girls have excellent hips scores and free of any genetic anomalies of the breed.

The Lagotto Romagnolo, also known as the Italian truffle dog, is a rare ancient breed and is considered the foundation breed to many of today's hunting dog breeds. The Lagotto is a non-shedding, active medium-sized breed. They are very loyal to their owner/s, extremely smart, very social, and loving which makes them the perfect family companion.

Our success as a registered breeder has been with the support of our mentor breeder Duoforza and world leaders in canine reproduction Monash Veterinary Clinic headed by Dr Stuart Mason.

Our puppies are raised in a family environment and are well socialised.

Newbies on the Lagotto block but thanks to some wonderful support and mentoring by Duoforza we could not be more passionate about this wonderful breed. We were drawn to the breed when looking for an old rounder dog that suited our busy, multiple kids household. We would looking for a dog that easy to train, loves being outside, swimming, running, loves attention, didn't drop hair around the house, the Lagotto ticked all of those boxes and so many more once we fell in love with the breed.

We actively show our crew, with new comer baby Peach just hitting the ring. Our dogs are all DNA tested as well as hip and elbow scored. We will be having a litter in the coming months which will be lovingly raised with the help of all kids in the house.

Once believed to be on the verge of extinction this anicent medium-sized Italian duck dog was granted probational recognition on the international stage in 1998 in an attempt to maintain the breed worldwide,based on the current breed standards we see today this little dog has come along way for sure !
Blessed with our first 2 girls in 2004 from the 1st and 2nd imports into Australia, absolutely taken by their joyful quirkiness and love for life we welcomed our boy in 2005 from the 3rd imported italian line into Australia and with the arrival of our very first litter of puppies in 2006
Luv A Lagotto began its journey as a registered breeder.

Over the years we have expanded on those original bloodlines, adding new bloodlines imported into Australia, in doing so we aim to expand the gene pool for health and diversity while maintaining this ancient Italian duck dog so generations to come may also enjoy this beautiful breed.

Our dogs are happy dogs and enjoy being dogs! running,playing,lazing about with a swim in the dam or the occasional roll in the good old dirt they defiantly enjoying a great dogs life.

Our puppies leave home vet cheched, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and registered with pedigree,Parents are DNA tested,good in hips, eyes and elbows ,healthy and robust but just as import, they have loving friendly natures which makes them great pets
