In 2008, while searching for a new dog, I found the Lagotto Romagnolo and have been involved with this joyful, loving and intelligent breed ever since.

I am the proud owner of three beautiful girls, LaDinamica Pina Cattiua (Pina), LaDinamica Magdelena (Luna) and Incavale Xmas Cupid (Gianna) who come from strong blood lines.

My foundation bitch, Fiorella, has produced some beautiful pups over the years, the first to be raised on the Surf Coast of Victoria. All my girls have excellent hips scores and free of any genetic anomalies of the breed.

We are a small breeder of Lagotto Romagnolos based in Melbourne. Our aim is to breed healthy Lagottos with a great temperament and a good conformation. In our view the perfect Lagotto should be friendly and energetic with no resource guarding and it should display a great working drive.

We have chosen Panda as our foundation bitch as she has the most wonderful temperament and is very smart and keen to learn.

Whether you are looking for an obedience dog, tracking dog, agility dog, show dog or simply a wonderful pet then we expect our next litter to have what you are looking for.

Around 7-8 weeks of age, all puppies will be temperament tested and we will match puppies to their new families to make sure they fit in the best. At this time we can also access which puppies are likely to do well in the show ring.

I spent quite a few years researching and learning about the Lagotto Romagnolo before I acquired my girl, Pearl. I have young children with allergies so I needed to make sure the Lagotto Romagnolo was going to be right for our family - having the correct temperament for being around young children and also having a coat that wasn't going to affect the allergies in our family.

Pearl (Ch Duoforza Olympia) came to us in 2016 and was raised in our family of 3 young children, a Boxer and a Shih Tzu - she fit in perfectly! I also took the plunge and started showing her, we learnt together and made many mistakes along the way, but it was always fun and we both enjoy it. She got her Champion title in 2018 and we still show whenever time allows.

We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. These puppies will be available to go to their new homes late November 2024. We currently have a white male available. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Three of our lovely lagotto ladies have decided to bless us with puppies before the end of the year. One litter of six has safely arrived and four puppies are currently available.
