The Coningsburgh prefix was established in 1972.
All breeding stock have their hip and elbows x-rayed and scored, eyes checked and their DNA tested for PRA & EIC. Litters are bred under the rules and regulations of Dogs Victoria and the Labrador Retriever Club.
We are proud of the achievements of our dogs over the years, but especially their temperaments which makes them great family members.

Josmyn Labradors are committed to breeding quality and correct Labradors for show/ companion, we have a strong direction on type, conformation and temperament. Living on 90 acres our dogs are free to run, swim, and play. I have a strong passion for the Labrador breed, they make such wonderful family companions.

We have been working hard since we started breeding to use only the best possible sires over our girls and titled where possible.

Our very first Chocolate girl was Ashalily Maggie, after alot of research we were very excited to introduce her as our Matriarch and from her we started to use the Blackhills and Lacote lines.

We have black, yellow and chocolate females who all have some of the best imported and international pedigrees available.

At Josmyn Labradors we pride ourselves on only breeding from genetically clear breeding stock with below average hip scores and only 0 elbows.

We also breed Warmbloods and have been for 15 years, our horses have been exported and are kicking goals in eventing, dressage and showjumping.

We now own two stud dogs that have full imported pedigrees. Both boys are chocolate and produce amazing beautiful puppies/ adults.

As we are proud of the Labrador Retrievers we produce we love showing them to the world and compete with high success most weekends at conformation shows.

All litters are carefully planned to produce the best puppies we possibly can.
Every aspect is considered with regard to health, temperament and sound conformation when planning a litter. All relevant health testing of parents is undertaken. We usually breed so that we can keep a puppy for ourselves as a future show prospect and it is important to us that the other puppies are placed in loving homes.

I am licensed to judge Labrador Retrievers at Championship level as well as many other breeds and have judged throughout Australia and New Zealand.

- Winter comes from a lineage of champions and has a friendly temperament and affectionate nature which makes her a favourite among our visitors, showcasing the wonderful temperament that Labradors are known for.
