The Coningsburgh prefix was established in 1972. All breeding stock have their hip and elbows x-rayed and scored, eyes checked and their DNA tested for PRA & EIC. Litters are bred under the rules and regulations of Dogs Victoria and the Labrador Retriever Club. We purchased our first Labrador in 2014 and fell in love with the breed. We are now a small kennel, focusing on breeding quality, not quantity. We started breeding with the purpose of producing the same beautiful, sound, healthy and beautifully natured Labradors that will provide families with the same love loyalty and companionship that ours do. Although we compete regularly in conformation shows, our dogs are family and raised in the country, on 5 acre, in a loving family environment. Our litters are carefully planned to not only maintain and improve quality and bloodlines, but to keep that loving, family temperaments. Next litter due in October 2024

Pippa and Scooter welcomed a litter of 7 gorgeous pups on 27 August 2024. We still have two beautiful pups who are 8 weeks old and ready new homes now. Both parents are all clear on DNA testing, which means all pups will also be all clear. Both parents have well below average hips and elbow scores. Pippa is a beautiful placid and gentle girl with great manners and one of the best mums I have had. Scooter is a handsome redfox boy with a great drive and wonderful off switch. He has sired both assistance and education support dogs as well as very talented retrieving trial dogs. We still have both boys and girls available from this repeat breeding, ranging from cream to redish. Pups will come with a two great two puppy packs, one with pedigree, DNA and hips and elbow of parents; as well as information on puppy. The second puppy pack contains, a piece of fleece pups have had since birth, a toy, worming tablets for 10 and 12 weeks, a harness, collar, lead and seat belt clip for the car; some chew toys and treats. We also send out information sheets on worming, feeding, crate training etc to give pup the best start with you. Pups will come with Australian Kennel Club registration papers, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. We are always happy to take questions both before and after pup goes to you. We are pleased to have a litter from our sweet natured Bimmelrun Cherry Ripe (Cherry) with the wonderful Sootystar Rifleman (Bomber)! Born on 30 Sept and ready for homes from 25 November. Cherry and Bomber are both athletic, people-centred dogs, so we're excited for the wonderful dogs these pups can grow up to be. We have a lively and loving black female, and two chocolate boys still available from this litter (one boy is quite energetic and would be suited to a home that enjoys that side of Labrador temperament, and the other boy is playful and more gentle - he'd be great playmate and snuggle dog for a young family). Lovely Inka's puppies are gorgeous and will be ready to go home to their new family on 15 December 2024. Phoebe (Silverstream Sweetheart), is a 6 yr old desexed yellow girl looking for a very special home. Phoebe has been a part of the Shadow Spirit Enterprises breeding program but is ready to live the life of a loved pet. Phoebe is up to date with vaccinations. Phoebe does not display anxiety in her current living situation with us but has shown anxiety when moving to other environments. A new owner will need to visit her to spend some time getting to know her and be willing to follow some simple instructions for a successful re-homing experience. Once settled Phoebe is an affectionate and gentle girl. She does not jump fences or dig. Phoebe has lived both inside and outside and is crate trained. Phoebe is a well behaved girl and great at the vet. Phoebe is good with children and familiar with cats. GINNY DOB 9/4/22 GINNY is a chocolate female now 2 1/2 years old old. GINNY has recently given us a beautiful litter and now we have decided to find her a forever home. SHE is fully health tested and is very sound. She is vet checked, microchipped and fully vaccinated until July 2025. Ginny is used to being with other dogs so we are looking for a home with at least one other dog. She is very sociable and calm but probably not best suites to a home with young children.
