Dizzyki Kennels have been involved with gundogs since 1984 in Showing, Retrieving and Obedience. Our Curlies have proved themselves in the showring, as working retrievers, trainable in obedience and as wonderful family companions and watchdogs. We continue to strive to maintain this standard for the truly versatile Curly Coated Retriever. We breed only from our best dogs..our only aim is to improve the breed, for show, companion and working dogs..and we achieve that every litter.

I have been actively involved with dogs and the wonderful Curly since 1997; Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. Markable Curlies are cherished companions; participating joyfully and successfully in Conformation Showing, Obedience, Agility, Jumping, and Retrieving; with titles attained in all disciplines. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. Markable Curlies are used as Assistance dogs and have PAT (public access test) assessment accreditation's. I have successfully trained Markable Curlies as Diabetic and Epilepsy Alert Dogs and for PTSD, ASD and Physical Disabilities. All dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared and raised on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Markable Kurrujong (pictured)) is a trained AD and a School Therapy Dog. We added a Lagotto Romagnolo to our home as a smaller Assistance Dog in 2019. Bassi is a Medical Alert Dog. Bea the Murray River River joined us in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. Since our introduction to the breed in 1992, Curlies have become a big part of our family. We aim to maintain the multi purpose abilities of the breed with our dogs having roles as working gundogs,conformation show dogs, obedience/agility competitors, therapy dogs and loyal family pets. Our puppies are raised in a home environment on a rural property on the Kapiti coast. We only breed very selectively and for ourselves so puppies may occasionally be available to the right homes. We are thrilled to announce we have puppies at Penita. Puppies were born 10th October. This is a repeat of our last litter which produced lovely puppies from Jacko and queenie. we have one male and one female liver and white puppy available. Photos available on request. Both parents have been health tested for the appropriate diseases in English Springer Spaniels. Puppies will be registered with the Tasmanian Canine Association, and will come vaccinated (1st vaccination), microchipped , wormed and vet checked. We are proud to announce an outstanding litter of working Springer Spaniel pups out of Wentlooge Wombina and Bramblebrook Gryffudd. These pups come from outstanding lines and should be great for detection,field or sports. We have been breeding working Springers for 20 years and many of our dogs are working in Law enforcement, conservation and field work. Straitswill Aami’s delivered 7 healthy pups (4 boys & 3 girls) on 4/11/24. The sire is Wrangham Time and Again (Banjo). It is a great combination. Aami is proving the be the best 1st time mum. The pups are thriving. There are still a couple of boys available and one female (someone changed their mind). You will notice from some of the photos that there are some tricolour ones, which would come from their great, great grandmother Tussockridge Bhreac, my first bitch and the best thing I ever did was to purchase her from Wrangham English Springer Spaniels. If they turn out 1/2 as good as Bhreac, you won’t be disappointed. As working Springer Spaniels, they are breed for hunting purposes, but my pups are also in demand as pets. They have the best demeanour, gentle, loving and generally fun. But they need exercise and places to swim. They are also of a medium size, which makes them good as pets or for hunting. Easier to travel under electric fences. The pups are now 5 weeks old, so will shortly be available. The price of the pup includes, 1st vaccination, vet check, microchipping (this will be completed next week), worming, full Pedigree Papers and the pups will be freighted to either Essendon, Moorabbin, Wynyard or Launceston Airports. Our pups are now 7 weeks old. All pups are liver and white and we have both male and females available. These pups come from some of the best working gun dog lines in Australia. Our pups make excellent gun dogs, detection dogs and loyal companions. These pups will be available to go to their new homes from 2nd January 2025 when they will be 8 weeks old.
