OLIZURE Kerry Blue Terriers – Home of Multi Best In Show winning Kerrys since 1992.

Kerrys have been a part of our lives for over 30 years and they are our true heart-breed. We only breed and own Kerry Blue Terriers as they are our passion and we are happy to chat to possible new owners as to the suitability of this breed to your home as while Kerrys are a fantastic breed, they are not suitable for all homes.

Our Kerrys are selectively bred for health, temperament and exceptional quality, but most of all, wonderful family members that make their families proud. We health test our Kerrys and regularly introduce new bloodlines in order to keep our gene-pool strong. We test all our Kerrys for vWd1, FXI, DM & CMSD/PNA to ensure the health of all our Kerrys and future progeny produced.

We have owned and exhibited this wonderful breed since 1999 (five Kerries owned during that period) and have campaigned our Kerry Blues to Australian Championships during that time. We are proud to now take over the Dallaroo Kennel name. Bringing such great traits with a fine meld of international blood lines over many years. Thank you Mr Wayne Lewis for allowing miss Leah, Dallaroo Leasionwitregenstauf to continue your breeding that is renowned for their temperament, their excellent type, coat movement and brains.

Our dogs live on a rural property (a 10-acre olive grove) amongst native animals and with plenty of space to run and enjoy themselves. Of course, they prefer to be inside with Mum and Dad, Cookie the cat and Smuggler the budgie. They are happy, healthy and a joy to own.

A new life began for us with the purchase of our first Kerry Blue Terrier, Aust Ch Tasshot Dancing with Charli who stole our hearts.

Our dream at DanuClaire is to breed healthy, well-tempered Kerrys and to see this rare and relatively unknown breed become a familiar sight both in pet and show homes. Our philosophy is to maintain breed standard while prioritizing health, temperament and confirmation.

We are ecstatic to have purchased semen from the prestigious kennel, Irisblu in N. Ireland. Harold and Helena Quigg of Irisblu have bred Kerrys who have won some of the most significant shows in UK, USA, Europe and Australia by carefully selecting breeding pairs based on their genetics and ensuring the best traits are passed down to future generations. By conducting thorough health screening and genetic testing, DanuClaire puppies will have the best chance of a long, healthy life.

Our puppies will be exposed to stimuli, environments and experiences to help them develop into well-rounded confident dogs. They will be brought up in our home and potty training will have commenced. Puppies come with a starter pack and will have their first inoculations and vet checked. Ongoing guidance and support is offered to new owners, with advice on training, grooming and general care to ensure a smooth transition for both the puppy and its new family.

It is of paramount importance that our puppies go to the best homes, so prospective puppy owners will be vetted to ensure their suitability.

I have exhibited this wonderful breed since 1998 and been owned and loved by fine Kerry Blue Terriers during that time. I have campaigned eight Kerry Blues to their Australian Championship including the first Supreme Champion Kerry Blue bitch in Australia. DanuClaire will have their first litter of puppies around 24 April 2024.

Tasshot Dancing With Charli was inseminated 21 February with imported semen from Northern Ireland. The sire is Irisblu High Expectations from the prestigious Irisblu Kennel owned by Harold and Helena Quigg and comes from a long line of International winning dogs.

Charli is an Australian Champion and we have high expectations from this mating. Charli's pedigree has Australian Supreme Champions with multi BIS and Australian Champion lines.

Our puppies will be brought up in our home and toilet training will be underway before they leave us. They will come with a puppy pack to help them, and their new parents settle in. Puppies will be registered, vaccinated and health checked prior to going to their furever home. To ensure good healthy pups, they will be fed Royal Canin.
