Exhibiting and occasionally breeding since 1970, good looks, good health and true Irish Setter temperament are my priorities. For show or pet, puppies are bred from quality parents tested for known hereditary defects and raised in a family environment.

From a very limited breeding program, Gwyndara Irish Setters have made an impact on both sides of the Pacific with Gwyndara Irish producing in excess of 30 American Champions to date. American Ch. Gwyndara Southern Cross (Imp. Aust.) has the honour of being the only Australian Irish Setter to be on the Irish Setter Club of America's Register of Merit for having produced a minimum of 20 American Champions. In Australia Gwyndara champions and grand champions have won at every level of the sport. We salute Ch. Gwyndara Who's That Girl who produced 15 champions, including 4 Grand Champions and 1 American Champion and we enjoyed watching her great, great grandson win Best in Sweepstakes, Reserve Winners Dog and Best Puppy in Show at this year's Irish Setter Club of America National Specialty at 6 months of age.

We are a small 'boutique' kennel breeding for temperament, type, soundness and movement, but always mindful of the glamour factor. Tryst one of our foundation bitches was a very special Irish - winning Bitch of the year in 2006 and again in 2012- combining a unique blend of USA English and Australian bloodlines, she possessed a lovely temperament, movement to die for and the most beautiful expression. The progeny of the Eireannmada bred stud dogs and bitches continue to dominate the Australia show scene with over 130 champions. Internationally they feature as key elements in the pedigrees of successful Australian exports In the USA "Roddy" Aust Grand & US Ch.Eireannmada Fortuitous became the most successful Australian bred Irish Setter to be shown in that country. It is hoped American breeders will utilise his bloodlines. Frozen semen is available from him and other proven sires to approved bitches. At Eireannmada many of the outstanding bitches have never been campaigned but they continue to remain the keystone of the outstanding breeding program. I take enormous pride in the fact that the key foundation bitch Aust CH Ballina of Irish Flame Imp Sth Africa now features in the pedigrees throughout the world. I have some sweet babies who will be ready for a new family to call their own from the 20/11/24 .. They are genetically clear of CLAD and both forms of PRA .. Parents have good hip scores .. I have three beautiful boys from the mating of LINDERRY MOLLY ODEA X VICTORYBEE COPPER HEAD ROAD Both parents are very strong field bred dogs with Molly being fifty percent imported bloodlines from Europe and UK, and Cooper having outstanding breeding including Orlando, Gamemaster, Kamphogdas and Quailbanders. These puppies are outstanding examples of field breeding, bringing wonderful conformation and temperament together with intelligence and trainability and a desire to please. Irish Setters are wonderful family pets who love to get out into the fresh air for exercise and games and later cuddles on the couch. They are dogs with it all, personality plus, a keen sense of fun, loyalty and beauty and elegance, with of course the glorious red coat for which they are noted. A beautiful redhead always stands out in a crowd. The puppies were born on 2nd April 2024 and have had their third vaccination, microchipped, wormed regularly, vet checked and are on Limited Register Pedigree. Our puppies are brought up in the house and are familiar with all normal household activities and sounds. They are well socialised and love adults and children alike. They are also familiar with our cat and hens and have been introduced to our horses. They are 2 years old and full of fun .. they are crate trained and house trained .. they do walk ok on leads but could do with some updating on lead manners .. they travel well in the car ..
