Finnish Lapphunds first caught our eye in 2011. They are a beautiful intelligent breed that will win over your heart! We offer our dogs a diverse and varied lifestyle as a true member of our family. They experience life be it camping, bushwalking, 4WDriving and coming to work with us which leads to being great companions and contributes greatly to their well being. We also participate in obedience and confirmation showing. Our philosophy is to breed with the healthiest stock we can. We spend a lot of time researching pedigrees and health of dogs, importing semen which keeps our lines strong and healthy and the gene pool diverse. We breed lappies fit for the purpose intended. We do not breed often, we breed with prcd-PRA clear dogs and we are about quality and not quantity. We carry out extensive health testing prior to breeding. Our puppies and dogs are raised and live in our home. We place our puppies where they will be loved in show, sports or companion homes. We are also looking for like minded people who are willing to be part of our journey and offer preservation homes(to contribute to the future of the breed). We offer lifetime support. Lumottu is the Finnish word for Enchanted and that is what sums up a Finnish Lapphund for me, Enchanting. I fell in love with the breed in 2009 and have since added two into my household. Along with my dogs I enjoy my weekends attending conformation shows as well as obedience classes. Lappies fit into a household with ease. Happy to be out and about or sleeping on the couch. Zuleika is a boutique Finnish Lapphund kennel situated in Northern Tasmania. As our only breed, our dogs live in our home as part of our family, sleep on our beds, and enjoy two acres of rural land to frolick on. We are home to Tasmania's show history-making Finnish Lapphunds, Benni & Liina, and our matriarch Fleur. Active in the FL community, we are members of the Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria, Lappalaiskoirat ry (Finland), and Southern Finnish Lapphund Society (UK). We breed selectively, producing puppies that are sound, healthy, and happy. Our puppies are born and raised in the home, where they welcome visitors, become accustomed to household noises and enjoy lots of cuddles. We use Puppy Culture protocols to ensure they are given the best possible start to life and join their new families as well adjusted young dogs. Having involved in showing Finnish Lapphunds since 2015, Hueze kennels is excited for the arrival of our foundation bitch from Finland for our breeding program to fulfil our growing passion for the breed. We enjoy Conformation Showing and Agility - however our dogs are first and foremost a big part of the family. As we are a boutique kennel, we will only have one or two litters of puppies each year. Hi, I'm Claire C. Tirnacu from the Irish gaeilge "Tir Na Cu" means land of dogs. It sums up our home quite well, Its all about the dogs here. We are a small scale program.Our two girls Croia and Esky are predominantly much loved pets. Our Puppies are raised in the heart of the home and life centres around the dogs and pups. We follow a ENS and puppy culture style raising plan and aim to produce well rounded confident pups ready to take on the world as wonderful companions. I work as a Veterinarian and our dogs are fully health tested. I am also happy to do meet and greets with my adult dogs for those interested in meeting and getting to know the breed. The homes our puppies move on to get backup for life and we would love to hear updates on their new lives with their new families.
