We have been involved with the Golden Retriever breed since 1996.

We currently have a couple of young Golden Retrievers that we are hoping to breed in the next 12 months.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.

My aim is to breed healthy and sound Golden Retrievers with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.

All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. My dogs are all checked by a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist to ensure they are free of any congenital heart conditions at 12 months of age prior to breeding. They are also checked by a Specialist Veterinary Ophthalmologist to ensure they are free of any genetic eye conditions. My dogs have been fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.

I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.

Hello! Dr Claire Stevens here, I am a veterinarian and registered Golden Retriever breeder (also member of Dogs NSW and Golden Retriever Club of QLD).

I am now taking applications for a divine litter of puppies who will be ready for their homes on the 1st of December 2024

You’re welcome to check out my website and Instagram @drclairestevens ahead of applying for a better understanding of my commitment to our dogs; their health, temperaments, and superior blood lines (of course, all hold required health certificates for hips/elbows, heart, eyes and DNA testing).

The pups will have pedigree papers and will be entered on the Dogs NSW Limited Register (not for breeding or export).

I provide puppy packs containing copies of the parents' pedigrees, puppy health check clearances and loads of information on raising and caring for your puppy, including a signed copy of my book, plus some recommended products. I organise an introductory package of free pet insurance also.

Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment (with 24/7 love and attention), provided with the best veterinary care (also 24/7) and excellent environmental enrichment.
