Before owning goldens I successfully showed and trialed German Shepherds and I have now owned/bred many golden champions since my first golden, CH FERNDARRA GOLDEN RAJAH CD ‘Raj’,in 1978.All breeding stock hold current Eye,Hip, Elbow & Heart certificates, DNA certs…..I only have Stud dogs/ Frozen semen available to approved bitches. Rhycas Golden is a small kennel where our dogs are part of our family. They live indoors with us and are not left alone for long periods of time. Our pups are handled from birth and are well socialized and played with. They are regularly wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and on the limited register with Dogs Victoria.

We are planning two litters for Jan '25, with puppies expected to be available late Feb-early March. The first Mum(matings have just taken place)is our lovely Scarlett(Trulore Tomorrows Another Day). These will be her final babies to our handsome River(Burani Prince of Tides). The second, first-time, Mum will be Scarlett and River's daughter, Nala. Nala has just been paired with the handsome Bentley(Shelkeera Bentleigh Oak). All parents have excellent hips/elbows/eyes/hearts/DNA results and come from a long line of wonderful dogs. We have been ANKC registered breeders for 20+ years. River is the 3 x Great-Grandson of our first amazing Golden from 1994.
