Axttunga is a small family run kennel located on acreage in Langwarrin. 

Our Goldens are extremely friendly, outgoing and affectionate. We pride ourselves on their behaviour and well natured temperaments, a testament to their lines. They are raised in a family environment, they love a dip in the dam, a swim in the ocean and most of all love kids. 

All of our Goldens have the relevant testing: Hip and Elbow, Eye Certificate, Heart Certificate and DNA. 

We want to promote healthy breeding and are here to help transition puppies to go to their forever homes.

Puppies Due late 2024

Our kennel was established 2014 and is located on 2 acres on Phillip Island. Since starting this journey my love of Golden Retrievers has increased and I am very proud of the happy healthy pups we have raised.
My first show dog came from Camuka Kennels, her name was Juno- Camuka drops of Jupiter. We learnt so much together and she started my interest in showing. From Juno I bred Tully - Serasi Kissed by Yasi, he gained his Australian Championship title in mid 2022.. His Sire is Sup Ch. Fantango Playing The Game. Tully has had some wonderful results. Won his first Best of Breed at age 7 months. A high light was at the 2019 Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Specialty show when he won the class of Minor Puppy and also Best Breeder, Owner, Handler for the day. Most importantly
he has a temperament that is second to none, around people, kids and dogs. Tully is a proven stud dog and we do have frozen semen available
Summer came into our family 3 years ago from Camuka kennels - Camuka A Summers Night. At just 16 months she became a Champion.

We have a lovely boy bred from Summer, Finn. His temperament is the best. Hips 4 elbows 0. Clear for everything as shown on his full breed DNA profile.

We are very focused on breeding for fantastic temperament and all our dogs have the loveliest of natures and are an important part of our family. I am the treasurer of Golden Retriever Club of Vic, and member Tracking Club of Victoria.

Our gorgeous mid-gold girl, Trulore Tomorrows Another Day(Scarlett), and her beautiful rich-gold niece, Trulore Field Of Daisies(Daisy)have presented us with two gorgeous litters of puppies!
Scarlett has 6 girls/3 boys, Daisy has 5 girls/2 boys!
Dad of both litters is our handsome man, Burani Prince of Tides(River), the 3 x Great-Grandson of our first wonderful boy(Patrick, 1994-2010).
All parents have excellent health test results, low hip and elbow scores, clear eyes and clear heart certificates. River holds a complete, clear DNA profile.
Our puppies are born and raised in our noisy country home with a lot of love and cuddles.
They are always health checked, vaccinated, wormed and m/chipped, registered with DogsVic, and leave us at 8 weeks+ with a thorough folder of info in their extensive puppy packs.
Our packs include a starter bag of premium food, wet food samples, a blanket that smells like Mum, a heartbeat toy, collar and lead, a brush, a bowl, a puppy Kong toy and lots of treats and other extras.
All of our boys are spoken for but we do have a couple of beautiful girls still available.
