Wakunpa Golden Retrievers is a small Kennel in north Central Victoria, approx 2 hrs from Melbourne CBD. Our aim at Wakunpa is to never stop learning as we strive to breed for soundness, type and temperament, the foundations for the perfect family dog. All our breeding stock hold hip and elbow scores and current heart and eye certificates.

Eyes tested annually. Beautifully natured with great temperament & personalities Our dogs are well loved members of our family, raised on acreage, socialised with people, farm animals & other dogs. They go almost everywhere with us, so there experiences are varied, ie: swimming, camping, social & more. They also love chilling at home, playing with each other & going for walks The unconditional love & joy our Goldens have brought to our home is beyond words, thus careful placement of our pups, to the best homes is priority.

Morningmyst puppies are raised in our home as part of the family. They interact with family and friends as well as our adult Golden Retrievers. Our dogs are hip and elbow scored, have current eye and heart certificates. We also DNA test our dogs for GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2, Ich, MD, PRA-prcd. We breed for type, temperament and working ability! Ambrecreek has puppies due in January that will then go to their new homes in March. The parents of this litter were bred for good health, low hip and elbow scores, to breed standard with clear eye and heart certificates and full DNA profile testing. Puppies from this litter are available to good homes and will be vet checked with health certificate, vaccinated, wormed and ANKC registered. You will also receive a well stocked 'puppy starter pack and an experienced breeder to provide help and guidance as needed - for the life of your dog! We are taking expressions of interest for our upcoming litter. This is a repeat mating between Piper & River. Together they produced a beautiful litter just over 12 months ago. 2 of the puppies are used as Therapy dogs in a Secondary School. We expect puppies to be shades of Gold to Golden. But most importantly healthy, happy puppies. Parents have all relevant testing completed, Hips/elbows, heart certificates, current eye certificates & DNA testing.
