Our German Shorthaired Pointers are bought up as family pets on a little hobby farm on the Mid North Coast. They are raised with all our farm animals, kids of all ages and are part of our home.
Our pups are raised inside with mum until they are slowly introduced outside and the big wide world.
Bloodlines are prolific, descending directly from Germany and have all our dogs have participated in Sporting and show.

Fenrik German Shorthaired Pointers have the backing of 50 years experience in the breed - in the obedience ring, show ring, retrieving/gundog trials and, over the last 25 years, in agility trials. Sound healthy dogs and temperaments are necessary. Our dogs are superb athletes who compete at the highest level in agility. They love to train and play with us, and yet, happy to lounge around and relax when it is not play time. Ideal family pets for the active family, great with kids and easy to care for. As a vet we give our pups the best start to a long and healthy life. As dog trainers, we know the importance of the early weeks of up bringing to create a cheeky outgoing confident pup that is unlikely to have behavioural issues. CENTAINE was established 1980 and we pride ourselves on sound, healthy dogs with exceptional temperaments.

I have been actively involved in all aspects of this wonderful breed for over 35 years including showing, obedience and Gundog work.
I am a life member of The GSP Society of NSW Inc. as well as being involved in many clubs. I have had the pleasure of designing logos and the like for many clubs over the years, including DOGS NSW, ANKC and Golden Retriever Clubs throughout Australia.

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored and health tested.
While we only breed sparingly, we are very passionate about our how our puppies are raised and trained. I have been very fortunate over the years to know others who have taught me well and shared their knowledge and experience with me.
I know I will continue to be mindful of the health, temperament and well being of my dogs and those I breed as well as continuing to enjoy showing and competing in other disciplines.

We have just the one beautiful black puppy looking for his new family. He is gentle, outgoing, confident and playful.

We have been breeding our beautiful type of elegant GSP for more than 50 years. We compete in dogs sports to prove our dogs’ soundness, intelligence and more importantly their temperament and trainability. Our litters have many generations of breeding lines that have been exceptionally successful competing in many of the dog sports.

Because we are dog trainers, we pay special attention to socialisation, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature. Pups are raised to encourage easy house training, not to jump all over you and wants to come when called.

As a vet I ensure the best healthy start to life. Pups are wormed, heart worm prevention started, micro-chipped and vaccinated. They are kept at correct lean weight to minimise future joint problems.

We give full follow up, and love to keep in touch with our pups, including a Facebook group for our owners where we continue to publish photos, news and advice.
