Lawine Kennels is a member of the GSDL and RNSWCC. We participate in the schemes of the GSDCA. We breed for quality and temperament without compromising type. We have been fortunate over the years to have some lovely strong foundation bitches who have cemented the type of our kennel today. Our lines come from full German and European lines.

Our german shepherds are suitable as the family loved pet, show or obedience ring. Litters come from parents who have obtained the "A" and "Z" stamp (hip and elbow displaysia), breed surveyed and health tested for current diseases.

Morekos Dogs compete in the fields they were originally intended for, we do not own dogs purely to breed. All our dogs prove they are worthy of breeding first and we have the trophies, certificates, careers, media footage & demonstrable abilities to show for it.

ALL our dogs are hip/elbow scored and DNA profiled/health tested prior to breeding. Selected for working abilities, sound temperaments and healthy longevity. Producing quality not quantity.

Pups are raised in a clean home environment, exposed to everyday life events are regularly handled including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), correctly exposed to sounds, sights and tactile environmental conditions appropriate for age specific socialization. We build hunt & prey drives and initiate crate training, sleeping pups individually by 8 weeks of age, preparing them for separation from the litter and building confidence when required to be alone.

Our journey with the German Shepherds started when we had a chance to watch a Lundesgruppen show back in 1990. Because of the beauty, agility, and personality of this working breed, we started our passion for this breed.

In 1992 several years and shows after, we purchased our very first German Shepherd named Cara. Our relationship was short-lived with this puppy because of having caught the Coronavirus. It took us several years before we got through Cara.

In 1994 we started again. Fast forward to 1998, we then had a chance to import our first female from Fiemereck. Since then we started showing and importing dogs from Germany.

Mira is a daughter of Djambo vom Fichtenschlag IPO3, German and World Junghund Sieger, rated VA x 6, Germany, Holland, Italy and French Sieger, Gold medalist at the Australian National. Winner of the GSDL NSW Pointscore from 2019 to 2023.
These puppies will be of beautiful colour and masking, stable character and intelligent. Mira has earned her Scent Work Advanced and Rally Novice Titles and after this litter will continue on in these disciplines plus Obedience and Tracking. Mira has siblings also titled in various sports.
Excellent hips and elbows through the pedigree and puppies will be clear of degenerative myelopathy as the parents do not carry the gene.
Puppies are raised in our home on acreage and socialized appropriately to their life stages.
I have been actively involved with GSDs since 1976 and held a variety of committee positions with the GSDL plus as an Obedience Instructor with the GSDL and all breeds clubs.
