Lukota is a small scale breeder and our dogs are our family. We have both working line and show lines. We are the 3rd generation GSD breeders in our family and have had German shepherds most of our life’s

We are active in both Obedience shows and Conformation shows and really believe in only breeding to better the breed. We focus a lot on temperament and breeding well rounded dogs. Our German Shepherds make great family pets with beautiful sound and solid temperaments

Our pups are raised on 100+ acres and are exposed to all types of animals, loud sounds and machinery. Being a dog trainer we have an extensive program we put our pups through including early neurological stimulation and we also have a full environmental exposure program. We also add stuff like crate training for our pups from 5 weeks old. Completing this training makes very solid well rounded fearless puppies that are perfect for show, obedience, sports or just family companions.

Puppies due September out of extraordinary lines from German imports that are 100% East German (DDR) and strong Czech Border Patrol lines. Our dogs possess a heavy set frame with strong thick bones and square blocky heads. We have imported numerous dogs into the country which many other breeders are incorporating into their bloodlines. When other breeders utilise your dogs in their breeding it speaks volumes!

These puppies come from the healthiest parents who have been x-rayed and cleared officially of any hip or elbow problems. They have also been DNA profiled for validity of parentage and DNA tested for any hereditary diseases and have tested negative with full reports.
