Bucklee French Bulldogs is a small kennel situated in Emerald. I have been breeding and showing Labradors for the past 18 years and am now taking a "walk on the wild side" with French Bulldogs under the guidance of Michael Simpson and Lloyd Grosse of Perreux French Bulldogs. Michael and Lloyd kindly entrusted me with my foundation bitch Perreux Carmargue (Ruby) who has been a complete joy to have in the family. I would also like to thank Vicki Scott for her guidance and for letting me use her beautiful Luther. My dogs and much loved members of my family who bring my family so much joy. It is my intention to produce beautiful & healthy French Bulldogs by choosing the best genetics available to advance the quality & health of breed. I have recently bred my first litter and am very excited about showing my first home bred Frenchie in the near future.

We are small boutique breeders that focus on the health of our breed. Our breeding dogs are extensively tested for health and soundness. We are thrilled to be able to offer payment plans to approved families. All of our pups and dogs are raised in our family home, well socialised, DNA tested and come with genetic proof of parents. We test spines, hips, throat (trachea) size as well as heart and RFG testing. Ongoing support is very important to us. I may be newly registered to Dogzonline. But I have owned, shown and bred Frenchies a few times since 2006. Taking a break from it all in 2011 and started my own family. I did my breeders exam through Dogs Australia and have become a member through Dogzonline since getting our Foundation Bitch Krystal. We stepped out into the show ring in 2023 where we both did amazingly considering how much time I have spent away from the ring and it being her first time. Krystal has had a full breed DNA profile and is clear from any hereditary known diseases known to the breed. When breeding, besides the obvious of the breed standard, we are also huge on temperament. Krystal is currently being trained up to meet children at primary school’s to teach and educate about dogs and ways to approach. This is a true reflection on her temperament. We are seeking a new home for our Bambi girl. No fault of her own as she is amazing. We have decided not to breed her is all, even after DNA & xray results deemed her perfect for our small program. She has now been spayed! Bambi has just turned 3. Shes a cute compact size. She loves fetch, walks, and is water obsessed. Not a great swimmer but loves the hose and shallow waters are ideal for her. She loves treats and pats on the head and chin tickles. She's not fond of being on her back for belly rubs though, like what dog doesn't like belly rubs haha :P Bambi is great with kids small and big but she is nervous with strangers, so she'll need a few days to adjust in a calm environment. Ideally seeking a family that love spending time at home, going camping and trips to the water. Bambi is not good with busy loud surroundings. Bambi is okay with some dogs, depends on the other dogs personality. I would also consider selling Bambi at a heavily reduced rate if she goes with one of our current litter puppies as she will have bonded with them over the coming 8 weeks.
