Owner of Field Spaniels since 1994, the first Shevington litter of Field Spaniels was bred in 2004. Breeder of one of the first Field Spaniels in Australia to gain an Obedience title - Aust Ch Shevington South Trader CCD. Our Field Spaniels are hip and elbow scored and eye-tested. Breeder is an All Breeds Dog Show Judge and Head Instructor of the Gundog Club of South Australia.

Dawnus Field Spaniels are based in Sydney, NSW. Number 1 Field Spaniel Breeder 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 (DOLPS). Breeder of Best in Show and Performance titled Field Spaniels. Dawnus Fields compete in a variety of sports in the performance arena and also excel in the show ring. Dawnus Fields currently compete in rally, agility, flyball, lure coursing, scentwork, endurance, working pack dog, bike joring, trick dog and of course showing. They truly are a verstatile breed and a wonderful family pet. Liver and black puppies sometimes available. Early expressions of interest in recommended - I do hold a waiting list but this is not a first come first serve basis - puppies are matched with the homes they best fit as per temperament and future endeavours. Breeding from health tested stock for true type, soundness and temperament. All our breeding dogs hold clear eye certificates, are hip and elbow scored and well as undergoing heart screening (echo) and thyroid testing. I have been involved with pure breed dogs for 20 years. I have competed with three different breeds in 7 disciplines and obtained more than 25 titles. I am a licensed ANKC Obedience and Rally judge, am a member and volunteer of numerous dog clubs and committees. Working with dogs has been part of both my professional and personal life for these 20 years. I was introduced to Field Spaniels when Ch Silverbirch Piping Hot (Faye) came to us 12 years ago. Faye inspired me to want to promote and preserve this wonderful breed. As such, my breeding program focuses on health, soundness and temperament. I am passionate about performance sports and am committed to ensuring that my dogs are able to succeed in the show ring and the field. The Fayemor line is founded on some exceptional dogs from the USA, England and Australia. I am indebted to those breeders who have mentored me and made their dogs available.
