Aust Ch Asterel Xudavnown aka "Braxton" is an Estrela Mountain Dog imported from the UK from the well renowned Asterel Kennels owned by Trisha Dean. He was well established in the show ring before he arrived in Australia and we are looking forward to a long successful show career in Austalia now the breed has been approved. The Estrela is an ancient flock guardian breed that originated in Portugal. We believe that Braxton will be a good ambassador for the breed and look forward to importing others We imported a fawn female from the same kennel who competed at Crufts in 2017 with my youngest granddaughter handling her, she was awarded Puppy & Junior of Breed. She achieved champion status not long after her arrival here and has had numerous in group awards for her age group. We have since imported another bitch from Portugal and she had her first litter on New Year's Eve. We have 6 healthy pups born on 30th Nov 2024 . They will be ready for their new home February next year . We have 3 red boys , 2 red girls and 1 sesame girl. Both parents are import and have great personalities. We have kids , cats , different breeds so the pups will be really welll socialized. Pups will be registered with ANKC limited pedigree.

Only one beautiful little lady left. Nicknamed 'Buttercup' by my daughters, she has the most beautiful, thick, luscious coat, and the cutest, curly tail ever! She is a chunky little monkey too, and so incredibly placid - nothing fazes sweet little Buttercup! Whilst her sisters thought their first hydrobath on Sunday was horrendous, Buttercup took it all in her normal cruisy style. She just kicked back and lay down for the whole experience! Not a worry in the world. She is literally amazing! We can't wait to see how she looks when her ears finally prick up - we bet she'll be absolutely stunning! Due to have her second vaccination with her sisters on Friday (at 10 weeks of age), Buttercup is ready to be welcomed into her new family any time from this weekend onwards. We raise happy, healthy, confident, affectionate Shibees in our family home. As a result, Buttercup can already use a doggie door and is nearly fully house-trained. She loves attention and confidently greets all visitors. She has been socialised (with her Shiba family and two toy poodles) and is interested in our cat, but not overly stimulatd by her.
