I began breeding and showing english cocker spaniels, before moving to english springers which I have had since the eighties. Birchlands is a family kennel where the dogs are always pets first; litters have been few and far between to maintain a strong bitch line and produce quality stock. Today there are Birchlands springers being shown and winning in NZ and Australia.

We currently have a 17 month old liver and white female looking for her forever home. Our dogs are raised with us in our home as part of the family to ensure the best start to life. She is microchipped, vaccinated, regularly wormed and registered with DOGSNSW. Both parents have been DNA health tested ( clear by parentage ) and hip scored. We have a beautiful Black and White girl available to a pet home . She turns 1 yr old on the 23 of March 2025. She has a beautiful friendly nature but can be a bit shy until she gets to know you..She would be best as an only dog but does seem to get along with larger dogs. We bred her but she has come home to us to be rehome as her current owner is unable to keep her .She comes from health tested parents.
