First and foremost our dogs are our family, and a huge part of our lives. They spend most of their time with us. Living in the house and often joining us at work or just out and about. We breed occasionally, as a hobby. We show to enjoy time out with our dogs and friends, not to compete in point scores. Our dogs don’t just show in confirmation. They also attend obedience, swim and participate in dogs sports. Most of all, they love being out socialising. We have done our share of rescue and had many fosters pass through our home. We have seen first hand the results of irresponsible breeding and understand the importance of responsible ethical breeding. A lot of time, research and planning goes into what we do. We want only the best of homes for our puppies, and for them to be great family members. Therefore, we are committed to breeding happy, healthy dogs. Saltywaters Dogue De Bordeaux's are a boutique kennel, located in Smythes Creek (Ballarat) on 5 acres. Our dogs are part of the family. We breed for temperament & soundness. We can assist with interstate travel. Our dogs are part of our family and are raised with children of all ages with my nieces and my own children. Our dogs have shown absolutely NO aggression toward children whatsoever, if anything they show so much love for the younger children.

Exposed to other animals all aides for a wholesome well balanced dog. We breed to meet type and conformation aiming for healthy sound strong dogues from both Australian and international bloodlines. Committed to only breeding to improve quality and type. Our breeding dogs are hip / elbowed scored, heart certified by Echocardiogram and DNA genetically tested of which all are HD free. All pups are raised within the home and leave well socialised, microchipped, vet checked, wormed, vaccinated and 6 weeks of free insurance.
