Sonza Dobermanns have been showing and breeding quality Dobermanns since 1980. Our dogs have correct temperaments making excellent family dogs and loyal companions. The bloodlines we have carefully selected include some of the best European, North American, South American and older Australian bloodlines that have excelled in the show ring and in obedience. Our breeding philosophy focuses on soundness, health, longevity and conformation with each generation being better than the last. We are committed to the preservation of the Dobermann breed. We are proactive in genetic testing including DCM1, DCM2, vWD and UC Davis VGL Genetic Diversity testing for all of our breeding dogs. Over the years John has campaigned many dogs to conformation and obedience titles. He is also a Utility and Gundogs judge. Presley is very loving and affectionate whilst maintaining a confident and masculine Dobermann personality passing the breed temperament test the Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE) with ease. Presley is from some of the best Dobermann bloodlines from the USA, Canada, Argentina and Australia. The dam Redshift Tequila Sunrise 'Aria' is sired by European import Aragon Sav San (IMP LVA) and out of Sonza Royal Assent, who is from older Australian bloodlines. Aria is an adored family companion with a beautiful personality. This litter is an outcross and sire and dam have both undergone extensive health testing - as such we expect that these puppies should have above average longevity and genetic health. We have a black and rust male available from our previous litter. As the best male in the litter we have considered keeping this boy for showing and breeding, but after careful consideration we have decided to go on with his sister instead. DOB 14 July 2024.
