Established in 1991 and with over thirty years experience of breeding and exhibiting dogs Anduril is committed to producing Scottish Deerhounds of sound structure and temperament that can take their place in a caring household. Our breeding program has only been possible due to the valued co-operation and assistance we have received from a number of our Australian Scottish Deerhound breeders and exhibitors.

We have been showing and breeding hounds since 1972. In 1988 we acquired our first Borzoi followed in 1989 by a Deerhound. Due to business commitments, we exhibit our dogs only sparingly. Despite this our Deerhounds have done well in the showring. In 1994 we imported frozen semen from Fernhill Deerhounds in Canada and, in 2006, a Deerhound from Thistleglen in the USA. All our dogs are housedogs and part of the family.

For the love of a breed that offers inspiration and companionship, not only in modern times, but for hundreds of years. And in the hope my contribution to this breed will produce hounds that are sound and functional.
