The hounds live in rural Victoria.They keep fit by enjoying a run in the bush and swimming in the dam.
All our dogs are tested for ALL forms of cardiac disease, including DCM and ARVC, using echo and proBNP.

I have been involved with Scottish Deerhounds since March 2010
I got my first Deerhound Ember from Bhealaich Kennels. She is Ch Bhealaich Prettyprecosus. I cannot thank Glenda and Chris enough for my beautiful girl who in July 2014 had her first litter.
From this we kept Mirrahcle ~Aust Ch, Neut Ch Luvadeer A Beautiful Mirrahcle~
Mirrahcle became a neuter in 2020 and titled easily in 8 months after a lengthy lockdown. We are so proud of this girl. In 2022 Mirrahcle was Top Neuter Hound for Victoria.

In 2021 we welcomed a new girl to our kennels. This is Haiziedayz Narah. We cannot thank her Breeder/Co-Owner Katrina Hiller of Haiziedayz Kennels for the opportunity to own and show this beautiful girl.

We breed for temperment, type and soundness.
We pride ourselves on the temperment of our dogs who are friendly, loyal, loving and outgoing.

We have had deerhounds since 1979 and only breed occasionally. We ensure that both sire and dam are suited for each other to ensure the best quality pups.

Over the last 40 or so years, we have only bred 9 litters. It is our belief that only good quality Deerhounds should ever be bred from.

We do not have puppies at present, but may have some in the near future.

Here at Debtin Kennels we had a lovely litter of 3 boys(2 dark red/chocolate and a grey) Born on the 10th October. Beautiful breeding lines. We are excited to announce the upcoming litter between Aust CH. Arcticpalace Dreams n Sass "Sassy" (Grey and White, Brown Eyes) & Wolfgirl The Knights Code "Cody" (Red & white Blue eyes). Puppies due Early December 2024. To go home late January/February 2025. Both Parents have be hip/elbowed scored with excellent results and also eye tested. Both have also be DNA tested.

The puppies will not leave here before 8 weeks &if travelling around to other states I will ensure all health and safety standards on age of travel will be adhered to. They will be microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, wormed & come with a Black Hawk Puppy pack includes 3kg bag of food. Each dog will be registered with DOGS NSW limited papers will consider full depending on individual situations. If the puppy is on limited papers, the puppy would be required to be desexed before 16 months this allows them to have their full growth. You will also receive a lifetime of support from myself their breeder, we also have a face book group to share photos, milestones and questions.
