I have been showing & breeding Dalmatians in a small but select way for some 30 years. Starting with a lovely girl purely to accompany my horses. Times have changed, horses are no longer in the picture but Dalmatians remain. I have shown in Western Australia with great success. I am also a past judge and disappointed that some breeds are changing for fashion sake. I believe all breeds should be sound and healthy with temperament paramount. They should be capable of doing and being what they were originally intended for. The Dalmatian is an athlete with elegance and refinement of power; all puppies bred under the CARIJLYTE banner are registered and 100% healthy and will only go to loving caring homes, whether as show puppies or companions - they are friends for life. Our Dalmatians are family pets first, the training and dog sports I do with them is a bonus. They love nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa next to you (and if they get the chance being a lapdog) as well as being ready to play games and train.

They train and/or compete in a variety of performance dog sports such as Obedience, Rally Obedience, Tracking, Track and Search, Scent/Nose Works, Agility, Jumping, Games and Endurance Test as well as the Conformation Ring.

We have the first Triple Champions (Conformation, Tracking, Track & Search) and Track & Search Grand Champions in SA.

Our aim is to breed LUA (low uric acid) Dalmatians with good health, temperament and structure.

Puppies are brought up in a home environment using protocols to give them a variety of enrichment, exposure, experiences and the beginning of toilet training before going to their new homes.
