The Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds from Tarrangower are delightful little characters that have been selectively bred to excel in the show ring as well as in the earthdog den. We are the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner 2009 . My boys daughter was the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner 2012 and we are also the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner for 2015. All National major wins Runner Up to Best Of Breed etc on my website newly created may 2017 and still being updated at present. National Dachshund Specialty Show 2018 We were Runner up to Best Of Breed also.
A Dachshund National Specialty is every 3 years for all Show Dachshunds in Australia.

Our dogs are loved and cared for and are happy and healthy. The pups are brought up with their mother in the home and are microchipped, vaccinated twice and wormed regularly.
It is of great importance that only the best homes have our dogs.

Health and Temperament are paramount . Selective breeding only.

All breeding stock and puppies tested clear for PRA Cord 1 and Parents and Grandparents tested CLEAR for Laforas disease with full documentation. All breeding stock are also back x-rayed to determine the calcifications in the spine (IVDD).
Proof of clearance certificates available for both parents and grandparents. I do not just say clear by parentage.
