As a dog trainer and behaviouralist, I cannot stress how important early socialisation and handling is. She ignited our passion for the breed, their beauty and intelligence. After many years, and a few ups and downs, we are finally starting our journey in breeding WSSDs. Our focus is improving conformation and health of the breed, whilst maintaining a confident and affectionate temperament. We are one of few breeders in Australia that breed & exhibit both medium (short) coat and long coat White Swiss Shepherd Dogs, as we feel there is more to the breed than a pretty coat. We are also happy to sell dogs on main register to other breeders or exhibitors. We are now starting our second generation of Royalemerald breedings. We expect a vast improvement in consistent type moving forward, as we hone in on our style of White Swiss Shepherds. Our dogs are hip & elbow xrayed, ACES eye examinations, Embark DNA tested for genetic health traits, and additional DNA testing for breed specific issues like Pituitary Dwarfism and Cerebellar Hypoplasia.
