Breeding for type and temperament, combining the best of English, European and Australian blood lines. All of our puppies are eye tested before 8 weeks and, where possible, all breeding stock is hip scored. Pedigrees and certificates available upon request. Visitors always welcome and all queries answered. Puppies in all three colours sometimes available although we do specialise in blue merles and tri colours as a kennel. VEDAMEA Rough Collies are professional breeders, established in 1979 and reared on five acres of lush green paddocks at the foot of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. Now calling the stunning 7 mile beaches of Lake Cathie on the NSW Mid North Coast out home; our Collies run free with lots of fresh air and sunshine and pristine coastal landscapes to bound around in a happy and well-adjusted lifestyle. A wholesome natural diet produces sound and healthy animals. Our experience and appreciation for the value of a true working dog is linked to our strong rural roots. Although most breeds today are not required to work as such, we believe retaining this working ability is essential to produce Collies suitable as show dogs, for obedience or just simply good companions - healthy in body and spirit. The Collie has an aesthetic value shared by few other breeds. They are always willing to please with wonderful temperaments and a great desire to be with you. They are wonderful dogs for almost anyone. Vedamea Collies has a small, responsible breeding program reflecting our commitment to relevant testing. We have imported numerous quality Collies over the years to infuse into our breeding program, ensuring not only improvement of breed type, but also the introduction of new bloodlines ensures continued good health to our lovely breed.

Jedford Collies is located in Laggan, a small rural village just outside Crookwell, NSW. Our collies have the pleasure of acres of free running on our property. We participate in confirmation and dog sports and many of our puppies go to loving homes to be a life long companion. We only have a litter every 18 months to 2 years and welcome people to visit our Collie family and be placed in a waiting list.

We're passionate to maintain the structure, type, temperament and other attributes to work as well as show. we have bred & exhibited, the Best in Show winner of the 2009 Collie National, Multiple Grand Champions, Multiple Champions, Multiple Best in Group winners, Multiple Best in Show winners at both All Breeds and Specialty levels, Multiple Royal Best of Breed winners and 2 Supreme Champions with another one not too far away. Our aim is to breed and exhibit healthy, happy and sound Collies that are well socialised and well-adjusted so that they then grow up to be loving pets and companions.
