While we at Sunshard do breed the occasional litter focusing on health, temperament, and type our main focus is trialling in the performance ring. For this reason we rarely have puppies.

When we do have puppies they are bred and raised with performance sports in mind. They are socialised and receive enrichment from birth and we offer support and assistance to our puppy people whenever it is required and we always love to hear how they are going. Our dogs are housed and raised in the home enviroment.

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored and DNA tested for CEA, MRD1 and DM.

Fully papered puppies. They already had eye health screening with eye specialist at 6 wks, DNA testing (awaiting results), vaccinations, microchipping and health checks. Blue merles are a true bless, they are raised in our house in the city along with pup mom Sofi (sable merle), dad Simba (tri), and great uncle Sam (10yo). They get a lot of cuddles everyday so they will be used to being touched and handled. Early training has already started. We do absolutely our best to nurture them. We are looking for the absolute best of the best homes for them. We encourage you to come and meet the pups and the dogs. Sandicourt Collies have been exhibiting and breeding collies since 1979. We breed to the Breed Standard and our dogs have got amazing temperaments ideal for any family. Sire of puppies is Carluke Charmed by a Kiss (Darcy), and mum is the gorgeous Australian Champion Sandicourt Don’t Ya Lover Madly. (Gidget). Gidget is a multi group awarded girl who has excelled in the show ring. Both parents are by imported lines. Both Parents have had full breed DNA profiles, and both have been hip scored with excellent results. These results are available to the new purchaser. Sandicourt have bred many Champions over the years and have also had successful dogs in Obedience, different Dog Sports, and service dogs. These puppies are brought up in the home with my family and we welcome you to come and visit and meet the puppies and the parents. They will be Registered with Dogs Queensland on the Limited Register, DNA’d for Parentage, Microchipped, first vaccination and come with an eye certificate from a Canine Opthamologist. November update I have a beautiful tri collie male pup waiting for his forever home. Hamish would most likely be good at dog sports like agility and fly ball. He is a delighlful pup.
