Amityvalley is a kennel situated in Gippsland Victoria and our beautiful cockers are part of our young family.
Our focus is on breeding for excellent health and temperament, ensuring that our puppies grow into healthy, loyal companion dogs. We choose carefully which dogs we select for breeding & breed both solid & parti colours, based on quality bloodlines.
All of our Cockers are tested for PRA and FN and their pups will never be affected. We are also in the process of testing our dogs for AON.
All dogs come vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and raised with love and care from us and our children. All pups have Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction & Noise desensitisation performed on them as well. This is all in aid of preparing our pups to be suitable for therapy dogs. More than 38 years ago our chosen breed was Irish Setters. We were extremely successful in the show ring with all our dogs quickly gaining their titles; five of seven were of our own breeding. We paused from showing after sending our beloved 'Legendary Mickey' to Finland and moved onto homing Cocker Spaniels. In 2017, after 15 years we eventually returned to both showing and breeding arenas. No puppy farming here, with only three litters in six years, breeding for quality, not quantity. Today our Cloverpark offspring is a blend of Glenbriar and Steinhome (SA) and Britebay (VIC) English Cocker Spaniel blood lines which has produced pleasing results.
Our gorgeous Cocker kids are raised in a loving family environment, with both Mum and Grandma eager to nurture them. They enjoy plenty of cuddles and playtime, with of course socialising, potty and crate training also on the agenda
