We first fell in love with "Cirnechi" whilst watching the Hound Group at Westminster in 2020. Having a keen interest in sighthounds I became quickly besotted with this unique breed. We have since travelled to the United States, where there is an established breed presence and been lucky enough to visit many shows across the country, as well as the 2023 Cirneco National in Chicago. We imported our foundation bitch Aust CH AM CH Kr'msun Lavinia Fontanta (IMP USA) in 2022 and planning on breeding our first litter in early 2025 once our foundation male arrives. The Cirneco Dell'Etna is a rare breed that has been present in Sicily since ancient times, where they are used primarily to hunt small game amongst the rocky terrain of Mount Etna. They are thought to have been originally introduced to the Mediterranean basin by the Phoenician traders. Our aim in breeding the Cirnechi is to preseve the unique qualities and function of the breed. Breeding for type, temperament and soundness for show ring, lure coursing and as loving pets. Cirnechi are a strong willed breed, extremely connected with their owners as well as highly alert. They are very good house dogs and extremely clean. They do require daily exercise and regular off lead running in order to satisfy their intelligent and inquisitive nature. Our dogs are well socialised and are part of the family participating in a variety of activities. All our dogs are health tested. We welcome any enquiries and questions.

Bunyaview has a litter due 1st of January, 2025! Our kennel's first litter by our beautiful 'Signo' is arriving soon. The mother to be is 'Daisy' and this is her first opportunity to be a Mumma. Ultrasound shows quite a few babies on board and we excited to welcome the new year in with the 'pitter patter' of corgi feet! As Signo is a natural bobtail, there will be a chance of bobtail babies in this litter. Signo is also 100% DNA clear so none of these puppies can be 'at risk' of any of the diseases we currently test for. He is also Fluffy free so no fluffy puppies in this litter either. He has been hip tested 'excellent' and eyes are tested 'excellent'. Photos added are of parents to be as well as past puppies we've bred. Happy Christmas to all!!! Andrew and I wish everyone a happy festive period and a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year, hopefully with a lot less turmoil than the last couple of years! I bred my first litter of Pembroke corgis in 1972. Our pups have always been raised in our home with 24 hour care. We are raising baby pups here at the moment and enquiries are always welcome. Our family picnic days have been fun and allowed people to meet our dogs and pups. We had hoped to hold two more picnics before the end of this year but have run out of time so they will recommence in January. If you would like to attend please send me a note. We have been testing our corgis for problems associated with hips, elbows, eyes and hearts since 2003 and are confident of being able to offer pups with very low risk of these disorders. Our entire breeding program is clear of SCID, EIC, and vWD. Vaccination, worming, microchipping and six weeks free pet insurance is standard. Since 2010 my friends and I have been very successful showing dogs owned and/or bred by Nireno at major international competitions. Our genetics are consistently competitive against the very best in the world, including at Crufts this year.
