As we dabble in Australian Shepherds under the guidance and mentorship of Dapsen (Aimee and Denise Petersen) we have grown to love this extraordinary breed.

Rozate Kennels has owned Australian Shepherds since 1995 beginning with a bitch from the first litter born here in Victoria. My love of this breed has led to the importation of a number of American Aussies and semen for use in the near future. All breeding stock are hip scored and eye tested. Puppies are micro-chipped, eyetested, vacc and reg VCA Reg'd. Breeding for the temperament, soundness, structure and genetic health. Stud dogs are available to approved bitches.

Lascardie is a small kennel concentrating on temperment, type and health. Our dogs are first and foremost loved family pets. Puppies occassionally available to approved homes.

Quality Aussies, wonderful temperaments, great family members. Some suited to performance sports (agility, obedience, herding etc), with show dogs occasionally available. Using some top US bloodlines and emphasis on keeping up to date with health issues. DNA testing all breeding stock for heriditary problems. All adults hip scored prior to breeding and yearly eye checks continued.

In 2003 we starting showing Aussie's with some success. In 2005 after much research into the breed we started our own breeding program. The Aussie's fit in well with our already strong Aust Cattle Dog team, built up over the last 30 years. We strive to produce quality Australian Shepherds that are structurally sound, have great movement, strong work ethic and FANTASTIC temperaments. Like with our Cattle dogs, LANBART kennels only breed 1 or 2 litters a year, so when we decide to breed a litter a lot of thought has gone into it. We have put in a lot of work to build a solid foundation for Lanbart Aussies with good structure, NBT gene & Great temperaments, we will reap the benefits of that in the coming years.. All our breeding stock have had all the relavant health tests.
