Ellamour Cavaliers - based in Petone, Wellington. Our first pedigree Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was a pet named Ella upon which our Kennel name is based. My husband and I fell in love with this breed and our goal is to produce the best Cavaliers possible, balancing health, temperament, soundness, and overall breed type, in a home environment. I have been exhibiting cavaliers in the show ring for some years now. My founding bitches are from Anne Dobie of Glengariff Kennels, and we are extremely thankful to her for entrusting us with her pedigree and sharing her breed knowledge. All our dogs are DNA tested for parentage, “dry eye, curly coat + episodic falling” and hold current heart certificates at time of mating. We welcome people interested in this loving breed to visit us, meet our Cavaliers, and see the home environment they are raised in.

I do not currently have puppies ready now to adopt. I am proud to say that I do the very best I can for the litters I have by bringing them through the Puppy Culture Breeding Program and the proof is in the puppy. Puppy culture aims to provide puppies with a foundation of experiences and skills that will help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adult dogs. This includes providing puppies with exposure to a variety of people, places, and experiences, as well as teaching them basic manners and obedience skills. Puppy culture is often associated with breeding programs that are focused on producing high-quality, well-adjusted puppies. It is considered a holistic approach to breeding and raising puppies that aims to optimize their overall health and well-being. Before breeding, I checked through their breed lines to make sure I was happy that the health of the generations was good. I have DNA tested the parents that I am breeding to ensure a good match. I am a registered breeder with DogsNZ so their lineage can be tracked. All my puppies come with DogsNZ registered papers.They have had vet checks covering heart health and checks on luxation of joints, their first vaccinations, microchipped, wormed and that will all be documented in the vet book so that you know when any of it is due next.

Old Rowley Cavalier King Charles Spaniels kennel was established in 1976 by Bill and Bronwyn Murdoch. Since then, we have owned, bred and successfully exhibited Cavaliers and Japanese Chins. We continually strive to improve the quality and health of our Cavaliers and have imported Cavaliers from successful breeders in the United Kingdom and Australia, including the world famous Homerbrent Cavaliers (UK) on which our Old Rowley lines are based. We have recently added to our lines by importing frozen semen from the leading Cavalier breeder in Ireland. All our Cavaliers are fully health tested, including DNA testing for inherited diseases than can appear in Cavaliers. Copies of health certificates are available on request. We live in Central Hawke's Bay where our Cavaliers enjoy their rural lifestyle. We welcome anyone interested in Cavaliers to visit and see our dogs and discuss this delightful breed. Since being in New Zealand we have imported bloodlines direct from UK, and also from Australia with predominant UK backgrounds. All our dogs and puppies are health screened. We have a litter of six Cavalier puppies born on 2nd January 2025; two Tri-colour males; three Tri-colour females and one Blenheim female. One Tri-colour female and one of the males will be available to go to their new homes from 10 weeks of age. The puppies will have received their first vaccination; health checked, including - patella luxation, heart and eyes. They will be microchipped and registered with DogsNZ. Both parents are fully registered with DogsNZ and are health tested and DNA tested to DogsNZ health requirements, including parentage.

Jagger, is a ruby male DOB 2.2.23. He loves playing fetch, is lead & house trained & gets along with all dogs. Very outgoing happy boy. Jagger is crate trained. Jagger holds current heart & eye certificates. Jagger was seeing by the cardiologist on October 2nd. He is DNA clear for diseases relating to the breed. Copies of health certificates will be provided. Vaccinated, heart guard yearly & wormed. I am only looking at homes in & around Brisbane. This is because I have frozen his semen and hope to use him in my breeding program at a later time. Jagger will need annual heart testing at a cardiologist veterinarian clinic (Stafford or Underwood), which I will pay for. He has been desexed and will be available following a full recovery. Marshal has been patiently waiting for his forever home, a sweet affectionate boy who would love a lap to snuggle on, born end October 23 hes now fully toilet trained and has mastered basic training commands, fully vaccinated and on heartworm prevention he is ready to go and live his best life. This super young lad is now seeking his forever family. Cowen is 2 years old; a very sweet, happy, affectionate boy who loves everyone he meets. He would be suitable for most family situations except for where he would be left on his own all day, as he is used to having his humans around. He has grown up with my other Cavaliers so a furry friend, although not essential, would definitely be a bonus for him. Cowen is up to date with vaccinations, has recently been heart cleared by a specialist cardiologist, is eye clear and has been DNA tested for relevant conditions. I'd like to introduce you to Evie. Evie is a very fit, healthy, active, playful and very loving and affectionate 3 year old gorgeous girl! We are looking for that special home where Evie will be loved and cared for and provided with the attention she deserves. Living at Brandy Hill on 2 & 1/2 acres, Evie has plenty of room to run around with her fellow companion cavies and she really enjoys this and thrives on the freedom to explore. Evie loves to be around her playmates and people. She relishes cuddles, and a good tummy rub, as she soaks up attention and affection. To fall asleep beside you at any time, if you allow her to, would make her so happy. At night Evie sleeps cozily with her other cavie beauties. Evie has been desexed, has full vaccination history and given a full dental check, just recently. A fully fenced decent size yard is essential. Another canine companion would be ideal, along with providing Evie with a premium dog food, regular worm/flea/tick monthly treatments and lots of love and care.
